BEST VEGAN FOOD IN ANTIGUA - Edit
Had the most delicious noodle bowl here, tasted too good to be true so came back the next day and it was just as flavourful, delicious and fresh! The service is outstanding also - so quick and so attentive! The smoothie I had and coffee were both exceptional too! Perfect for after the big Acatenango hike! The cheesecake afterwards was the perfect balance of sweet and tasty but not too rich!

Delicious nourishing food! - Edit
My partner and I visited this spot and it was amazing! Very relaxed vibes inside, with friendly staff. We had the tacos and quesadillas which tasted insane, washed down with some kombucha. They don't mess around with small kombucha bottles here, as we got 500 ml bottles each! Really delicious and I would highly recommend.

Everything we tried was delicious! - Edit
We came here more than 3 times and all we ordered had a rich flavor! The bowls, burgers, tortillas - everything spotless! The passion fruit kombucha was one of the best I ever had. Healthy food doesn’t mean boring, and Wachuma proves it’s possible to be delicious and healthy!

Delizioso - Edit

Some slightly strange flavour combos - Edit
I came here twice. The first I had tacos which were nice but nothing special.
Read moreAnd the second I had the nachos which were straight up bizarre. They were very vinegary and with a teriyaki type sauce. It wasn’t for me.
I don’t like to write bad things about fully vegan places but this place has room for improvement.

Fresh, nutritious whole foods that will leave your stomach and soul happy. Located within Lemon Tree Hostel. Highly recommend the krautons - think kimchi dumplings.

Go to Samsara - Edit
Wachuma shares the same owner as Samsara but the options and portions are much less. The only reason to come here is if you explicitly want kraut.
Read moreHonestly they served one of the slimmest burgers I’ve ever had for that price (after telling me it was a lot of Tempeh) and it didn’t even include fries. Brujas has a much much better tempeh burger. It’s like you pay $5 for the black bun and $3 for the tempeh.
Long story short, you’ll leave hungrier than when you entered.

Lovely food in a nice place - Edit
Good vibe and nice menu. We both got different custom bowls and both were very tasty! Would recommend and felt they were good value too. We just about managed a bliss ball to share afterwards which was also delicious. Both kombuchas we tried were good too. Definitely a must as a (gut loving) vegan in Antigua!

Nourishing the Soul - Edit
Little spot tucked away from the hustle of Antigua. Great fusion of some classic Mexican dishes. I had the Krautadilla - a twist on Quesadilla. Comes with choice of mushroom, tofu, or tempeh. It was very filling and nourishing after a day of walking the streets.

Nourishing - Edit
We loved the tempeh tacos we got here, the sweet sour bowl less so - it was a bit flavorless but still filled with nourishing ingredients. Lots of options on the menu, you can pay by card. The hibiscus tea was very nice, not too sweet.
