They can do better - Edit
Amazing space and interior, it was a really nice and productive study session. Only thing, I found they did not have a lot of vegan options, there were enough vegetarian dishes on the menu but basically none vegan, which surprised me. I got a small soup which I actually was expecting the bigger version of but there was a miscommunication between me and the waitress. It was good soup until when at the bottom i found a piece of feta although I asked specifically whether the soup was vegan. I also got cake and that was really nice, also the staff was super friendly, it’s a pity for the soup tho..

Heerlijk genoten van een drie gangen diner op het terras van Waanzinnig. De service was erg goed. Het restaurant is erg netjes en het menu biedt veel vegan/vega opties.

Most of the dishes are vegan, which can be ordered with additional meat for a surcharge. We ordered the bread with three vegan dips as an entree, vegan stew and vegan cabbage steak as mains and a vegan chocolate dessert with brownies, chocolate cream and ice cream as a dessert. All dishes were out of the ordinary and super flavourful! The staff was super nice and courteous. Would definitely visit again! Different season = different menu 😍 The only downside are the portions, which are quite small for the price (18 euros for a main).

Gelegen in een van Tilburgs mooiste straten! Op het menu staan de allergenen duidelijk aangegeven (bijna alles is vegan) en wisselt het menu wel eens. De gerechten zijn net wat specialer en interessanter dan wat je gewend bent. Wat voor mij het restaurant zo mooi maakt is dat het wordt gerund door mensen met een psychiatrische kwetsbaarheid (onder begeleiding). Supergezellig en vriendelijk personeel dus!

Such a great restaurant, not only good for the animals but also humans😄All the employees are people who suffer from a psychiatric disability in some way, and there they get the chance to work in a safe environment. Got a 3-course menu and loved it all! Great soup, burger, and amazing banana dessert. And so cool to see that you have to pay extra for the meat option for once haha. Would give 5 stars if I could!

Delightful and very interesting dishes. The dahl burger really is great: don't expect a boring v-burger, it's really nicely flavoured, with a well-made naan bun and raita etc - very thoughtfully done. I was really impressed with the courgette carpaccio - imagine that, if you can! Good friendly table service too.

Het was alweer een hele tijd geleden sinds we hier voor het laatst waren, nu voor de lunch ipv diner. We hadden de vegan lunch proeverij en het was fantastisch. Smaakvolle verse creatieve gerechtjes en de bediening was uiterst vriendelijk. Van alle keren dat we hier zijn geweest sprong dit er echt uit.

Dit restaurant heeft een wisselend menu met altijd één of twee vegan voor- en hoofdgerechten. Ook is er altijd een vegan dessert. De gerechten zijn meestal origineel, geen standaard burger met friet. Wel vind ik het ietwat duur voor wat je krijgt; de porties zijn best klein. Het personeel is wel altijd erg vriendelijk.

The restaurant itself is cosy, buy for vegans there are just a few options on the menu. The menu changes not very often, so I only eat there once of twice a year (otherwise you have to eat the same dish as weeks or months before). The food itself is ok, but not very special or extremely tastefull. I only go there sometimes because here in Tilburg (where I live), there are only a few options for vegans, especially when you want other options for your not vegan friends. BTW: personel does not know that there exists vegan wine, they had to ask for it in the kitchen. Also once I orderded a coffee as dessert, and while they where very aware that I was vegan, I got a non vegan biscuit aside.

This really cute place in Tilburg gave me a 5☆ experience. The waitress was very kind and the kitchen was willing to stay open a little so longer so my friend and I could stay for dinner.

They even have a vegan dessert! I was quite full from the main, so I didn't try that one.
I definitely go back again!!

Sadly, I was not too impressed, as much as I wanted to like the restaurant. There were only a few vegan options, and neither of us were blown away by the quality of the food. I had a soup and a curry with tempeh, which was burnt. It was a real "I could have made this at home - only better" type situation, which was not a good feeling. Staff were very friendly though, and the sourdough bread (baked by a nearby bakery) was delicious. We would not return unless the food dramatically improves.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as The Netherlands isn't always easy for veggie travellers and the reviews were good! I checked the opening hours (17.30-23.00) I arrived at 20.15 to be told that the chef had already closed the kitchen. Very disappointing.

Read moreI choose the Ravioli with spinache...It was home made and i can only say that this was the best ravioli i ever ate. It melted on my tounge and it was so lovely that i reservated a table for this weekend .. I want to go back to waanzinnig such a nice place. The staff is verry friendly ! Note :
The table attendant grated french parmezan cheese on the Ravioli / plate while standing next to me. its a must go place

Very nice new restaurant where you can eat vegetarian but also can choose for a fish or a meat maincourse. The staff is very friendly and there is an important social aspect.I tried the Thay Curry with all its rich flavours en you can taste, it was home made! I also liked the browny very much! Good biological products, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful cupboard near the entrance!
