A kitchen window on the historic downtown mall offering Vietnamese cuisine for take away, including noodles, tofu, rolls, fresh vegetable dishes. At this spot since Apr 2015. Vu Noodles' ready-to-eat products are sold at local markets as well. Open Mon-Tue 11:00am-2:00pm, Wed-Fri 11:00am-7:00pm.

Caters to everything I want as a vegetarian - Edit
This is by far my favorite veggie restaurant in town. Why settle for another lame veggie burger when you can have all-natural non processed fresh veggies & protein. Price is incredibly reasonable for this quality standard & the owner is friendly.

I called ahead to ask about menu options that I saw online, and Karen was so friendly and offered to take my order over the phone so that she could have my order ready when I arrived! Everything on the menu is vegan/vegetarian, so it was really exciting to have everything on the menu be an option for me. They have a good variety, too! I got the curried tofu salad on naan and a green tea with chai seeds. I was instructed to peel off the foil as I ate to help keep all of the toppings on the sandwich and given extra napkins. The sandwich was stuffed with delicious fresh cabbage and the incredibly flavorful curried tofu. I enjoyed every bite! The tea was also great, very light and refreshing. Plan to eat somewhere outside on the downtown mall, as they do not have seating. I would say that this is one of my favorite vegan dishes I've eaten in Charlottesville and I really enjoyed my interactions with the staff. I can't wait to go back and try something new (or maybe the same thing again...)!
