Excellent atmosphere, many vegan options and friendly staff - Edit
I'm already looking forward to returning to try more menu items. The peanut pepper wrap was vegan without any modifications, and they let me leave out certain veggies on request. It was ginormous, delicious and seemed relatively healthy. Can be made gluten free if ordered as a salad, per the staff.
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and the outdoor seating was beautiful, with a large lawn, lots of trees, and a distant ocean view. Nice lunch spot with my dog.

Love this place so much ❤️ The staff are lovely, lots of vegan options. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly made with fresh ingredients. We both loved the fresh juice. Indoor and outdoor seating, love the small island vibe. Looking forward to visiting the island again and eating here.

My favorite is the peanut sauce wrap - it is smothered in sauce! Love the outdoor seating in the field and their covid precautions. Takes cards, but not tap to pay.

Veg friendly cafe - Edit
Lopez Island is super laid back, and you will find this approach represented in spades at Vortex. It is nice to have a cafe on the island that makes fresh pressed juices and smoothies, great brekkie and lunch choices.
Read moreThe menu is casual cafe style- wraps, bowls and quesadillas. They will make your order when you order, and that might even mean takin whole veggies and chopping them. So, it takes time. Nonetheless, the veggies are fresh and well, there really isn't any other place to compare it to and prefer for this veg style of eating.
A good choice that will hit the lunch spot if you are here.
