Best in Vancouver - Edit
I had written Voodoo off for a long time after waiting a stupidly long time in line for a wacky donut back in the day. But it turns out the more traditional donuts are actually really good and there’s no line here in Vancouver. This is probably the best you can do in Vancouver, though Angel’s is good too.

Voodoo in Vancouver - Edit
Voodoo appears to have a more subdued and "sanitized" aesthetic since opening more locations, but their doughnuts are still classic. Like many times before, I chose an Old Dirty Bastard, which is a raised ring with chocolate frosting, chocolate cream-filled cookies, and peanut butter drizzle. Just as good as I remember.

Ten vegan do-nuts! - Edit
Went there earlier today due to the noodle restaurant next door not being opened. I was never the one for the donuts, but this joint always has been eye-catching (how can one ignore the color pink??) since they opened here in Vancouver a couple years ago. They have ten different vegan donuts, and I ordered the original voodoo doll with maple bar. I took bites of both and saved the rest for later. They tasted just like their non-vegan counterparts. Wish I had took a photo of the vegan selection on the menu… guess I’ll come back for that and other vegan donuts.
