I always go to Vöner when I’m in Berlin and love this place. The food is delicious, the servings are generous, and the prices are inexpensive. The special fries are a must!

Sehr guter Vöner 😋 - Edit
Wir hatten den vöner mit Kräutersoße und frischen Salat, dazu noch Pommes. Die Pommes waren knusprig und gut gewürzt. Der Vöner war sehr lecker. Das Vleisch im Vöner war gut, allerdings war das Brot etwas zu knusprig. Der Laden ist super authentisch und gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr nett und dazu ist auch noch alles vegan.

Als wir den „Laden“ betraten kam uns der Chef oberkörperfrei aus der „Küche“ entgegen und ging an uns vorbei um draußen eine zu rauchen.
Die Mitarbeiterin, die uns die „Vöner“ zubereitete, war sichtlich genervt und gelangweilt.
Wir hatten Vöner ohne Tomaten bestellt und dazu Pommes.
Der Laden war leer.
Es hat ne halbe Ewigkeit gedauert, die Pommes waren unfassbar versalzen, der „Vöner“ bestand aus einer steinharten, trockenen Masse, die sowohl von der Konsistent, als auch vom Geschmack her ungenießbar war und war kalt. Was war das bitte???
Brot das zu lange gebacken wurde?
Der „Vöner“ kam gegen unseren Wunsch dann trotzdem mit Tomaten…
Obwohl wir halb verhungert dort ankamen haben wir das ungenießbare Essen stehen lassen.
Nicht mal die Pommes waren essbar.
Ich kann keine der positiven Bewertungen auch nur im Ansatz nachvollziehen.
Eigentlich ist ein Stern schon zu viel!

I liked the athmosphere and concept of the place, however as a spoiled food critique, I must say the taste was alright but nothing great. In specific: their 'meat' is too soft and grainy, they lack the typical coleslaw, standard sauces are very liquid and drippy, the chili sauce and flakes are not spicy at all - in my opinion. Overall still okay taste.

I come here when I'm in town on a work trip and want something quick. It's very reasonably priced for the portion sizes and the döner is very flavorful and good. I only wish that the pita was a little more fluffy

My friends and I was at Vöner yesterday. I had a vegan currywurst, and my friends a kebab. The currywurst was good, but the main attraction is their vegan kebab, cutted from the big piece you know from the "regular" kebab places.

I’ve never had vegan Döner before, so was quite excited to try this. We had the vörner with garlic tahini and yogurt herb sauces. The food was good though the seitan was a bit salty and in my opinion could do with a little more flavour (perhaps the wrong sauce choices on my part?). However, overall we were really satisfied, and the place had a nice chill vibe. I’d definitely go back again to try out their other options.

As far as I know this is the very first place to offer vegan Döner in Berlin, and therefore probably all of the world. It's worth a visit if for nothing else than the legacy it has😄 I love to get a Durum wrap for take away, great filling snack on the go.

I love Döner and even if it’s common fast food it’s hard to get good vegan alternatives. I had some struggles in restaurants in the past but also good experiences. Vöner is now part of it.
Read moreWe choose burger, fries and Vöner. The fries are selfmade and pretty good, my companion liked the burger and I loved the Vöner with garlic sauce. It’s delicious and one if my favourites so far.
The restaurant is small, like a common döner shop and as promised vegan.
