BEST FOOD IN SALZBURG!!!!!!!!

This restaurant, better known as Veronika’s Cafe, is hands-down the best food around here. After spending several days in Salzburg and sampling all the vegan restaurants, this one wins the prize. Veronika cooks with passion, caters to every individual’s preferences, and has the most creative menu I’ve seen in a long time.
Note: this cafe is something like a pop-up inside a bar called Academy. In the evenings the bar only serves drinks and there is no vegan food. So come in the morning or early afternoon and enjoy some a nice brunch or coffee.

Home cooked food and friendly service

On a wet and soggy day, this was a perfect place to spend some time and have food. We had a chai latte and hot chocolate with rum and cream. For food we chose farmers strudel and spinach quiche. Both came with coleslaw. We finished with warm apple strudel and baked chocolate tart with cream. We enjoyed it all.

Amazing Strudel

Great Food and a Nice Vibe. Their Savory Strudel is excellent, haven’t had any better! A little expensive though, but still highly recommended.

Amazing food

Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere! We got the vegan egg croissant and the hummus plate. Staff was also super nice and attentive. The prices were alright and they have a 10% discount for university students.

Sehr interessante Auswahl und sehr lecker

Wir hatten Zwetschgen-Ingwer-Strudel und eine Nussecke. Zum Fotografieren waren wir zu gierig...
Es war sehr gemütlich und das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend 💚

Cappuccino and baklava was the best thing on the menu. I’m a raw master vegan chef so my standards are very high. 

Pros: Friendly chef, Great baklava , Great cappuccino

Cons: Didn’t care for the main courses, Tofu is not health food, it’s highly processed , It’s a pop-up so there were no sign outside

Best vegan spot in Salzburg!!!

I loved everything there: from the service to the food! We arrived too hungry there, one hour before closing, after a flight coming from Spain and we were going to travel by bus and train to Tirol after that. The staff was so nice and friendly, they accommodated us and we ordered lots of food (we were so hungry that we wanted to try everything). Everything was amazing, the prices are really fair, the dessert is huge! It was perfect to choose this place to spend a couple hours in Salzburg before our next travel chapter. I really loved this place and will definitely come back when in Salzburg again!

Einfach super

Absolutely fantastic!

Such a great place, with unique and very tasty breakfast options, a very sweet owner and nice outdoor seating. The (mostly inhouse-made) food was incredible, especially the croissant-vegan-egg combos. The savory Strudel did contain Caraway (Kümmel) though, so be aware of that.
I totally recommend this place!

everything I tried here was fantastic:

- latte macchiato
- fresh iced tea
- potato and bean strudel
- cream strudel

super friendly service and fair prices. will definitely be back when i’m in Salzburg! highly recommended!

Super cozy, friendly and delicious

The owner is such a nice person and she helped us with our choice. The food was very good - we had a sweet and a savory strudel. The location is colorful and kind of artsy.

Very delicious Food and lovely Location

We had a savory Strudel with a side Salad. Cheesecake and Sweet Strudel as desert. The whipped cream that comes with it is extraordinary.

Amazing food 🤤

Sign on door saying closed! We walked 25 mins to find this. 2nd place today that is closed despite supposedly being open. Very frustrating.
