The interior is nice.. but that's it.
The staff practically ignored us the whole night, never brought our drinks but still tried to charge us for them, the food was mediocre, and the prices are high
I was wonderfully surprised by Café Vogue! The prices aren’t low, but the food is incredibly high quality. There were only three vegan options on the menu when I went, but all sounded delicious: veggie stir fry, soba noodles, and fresh basil tagliatelle. I opted for the tagliatelle, and it was phenomenal. The sauce was thick and rich with flavour - a simple dish done well. One of my favourite vegan Italian dishes that I’ve ever had. My non-veggie partner also loved his meal. Our server was also a standout - courteous, funny, prompt and polite. I would definitely be back.
I can understand why Happy Cow only lets fully veggie places have 5 stars but this place should be an exception. It was so good! When we first went in we were worried it would be too fancy and pretentious but the staff are so friendly, we quickly felt comfortable and relaxed. There were three clearly labelled vegan mains. I had soba noodles with fried tofu and veg. The flavours were excellent and innovative. We also had bread with the best olive oil I've ever had.
I was traveling to Porto and was reluctant to stop here because of the lack of reviews. I was super impressed. The interior is gorgeous, the menu has clearly marked vegan options and the wait staff were excellent at answering questions.
I had the soba noodles and it was so tasty. One of the only spots I found that had true vegan food in Porto.
