Great cake and incapable staff - Edit
We didn't expect such a place in Wittenberg and were surprised by the huge selection of vegan cakes, some also raw and/or gluten free. Also nice outdoor seating in lovely courtyard. You should try it if you have the chance.

I reserved a table for our group a week before and got a positive confirmation. Since it was raining today I called ahead to make sure we get a table inside. When we arrived there, the two teenage girls at the counter (making up the staff) knew nothing about our reservation. So we had to wait until a bigger table got available.
After getting seated, we waited for the waitress to take our order at the table as she did with other guests. After this didn't happen for 15 minutes we went to the counter to order.
Coffee and drinks then came after some time, followed by a single piece of cake (of the six we ordered) after another 10 minutes or so. My pieces of cake arrived 45 minutes after our arrival. (We're talking about cake that was readily waiting at the fridge two meters beside our table and the café being half empty.) After we asked for the rest of the pieces of cake another one came plus the info the rest of the pieces had to be prepared, which would take another 20 minutes. After 80 minutes we complained and asked about our order. It would take another 7 minutes (sic!) the waitress said. So we waited another 20 minutes. Then we got up, paid and left.
At this point, about two hours after we arrived, one person of our group had gotten all they ordered, some part of what they ordered and one no cake at all. There were no apologies or explanations from the waitress and I got the impression she wasn't even realising anything went wrong with our visit. In fact, we wanted to show some non-vegan friends how good this place and their cake is. You can imagine how this visit achieved the total opposite.
Advise for visitors: order the cake to go and wait at the counter until you get it, then sit outside on a bench in the park and enjoy.

i really liked the café. the food was great, i loved the wonderful salad with lots of toppings and the pancakes. they also have many different cakes. the atmosphere is great and the staff very nice.

... in terms of vegan cakes will come true in this beautiful café. What a choice! We counted 10 different types (plus small sweets such as energy balls) and tried 4 of them. Delicious! We also recommend the Wostok limos and hot chocolate with mint flavor. Extraordinarily good! Beautiful courtyard, enjoy the view of the castle church tower. Also beautiful inside, in case of bad weather. Friendly staff. Animal rights brochures, small shop with vegan products. Go try this place!

Vlora is not just a friendly vegan café, is way much more. There are daily fresh own made cakes, a large selection of cafe, hot chocolate and tea. They even have lunch menus, I had a curry with salad and it was delicious. They also sell vegan products. My favourite place in Wittenberg!

Comparably large, quiet, bright, peaceful space in the middle of old town, close to super famous church of Martin Luther. Tons of types of very good vegan cakes; a few warm dishes. All freshly made with love & peace. Health / ecology environment (not animal protection). Good coffee. Tasty food. Brilliant cheese cake. Super friendly staff. Can't go wrong with visiting the place.

Food and service is full of love. Went to Vlora with my best friend and we had the daily soup, which was hearty and delicious. We also tried 3 different desserts and all were excellent and of the highest quality.

Read moreDas Vlora ist ein kleines, sehr gemütliches Lokal mit einem wunderschönen Hofgarten, die Tische sind sehr liebevoll mit frischen Blumenschalen dekoriert.
Die Kuchen, Torten und Törtchen sind nicht nur eine Augenweide, sie schmecken auch fantastisch! Aber auch das Frühstück ist total lecker, wenngleich die Portionen etwas größer sein könnten. Wir hatten ein englisches Frühstück, Rührei und Porridge mit Obst und sind alle 4 satt geworden. Die Smoothies sind sehr zu empfehlen, ich hatte einen grünen mit Kräutern und etwas Minze, super lecker! Die Bedienung war umsichtig und sehr freundlich.
Unbedingt ausprobieren, es lohnt sich!
