Throughout the years I’ve eaten here a bunch and it never disappoints! Quick, easy, filling, vegan and delicious.

Delicious Pitas!

I tried all three of their pita options and while they are all delish, my fave was definitely the Pita Mi Gado (def recommend!!). Super friendly staff - and they will ask if you want coriander or not with the Pitas for those that don't like it :)

Yummy & fast service

Really good vegan gyro. All I would add is a little more sauce. Salad appeared fresh and was good. Would order from here again!

Tasty quick option!

A friend mentioned that the food here was good and they weren’t lying. Very tasty vegan gyros and fries. Nice outdoor seating too, and lovely friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping if you’re passing by.

Pretty good souvlaki

Honestly, you can't find a better vegan souvlaki in Greece. It's really good. The other choices are very interesting as well. Glad there's outdoor seating. It is a bit expensive for what it is though.

Pros: Tasty souvlaki just like in Greece

Cons: Expensive

Fab fast food

Super fast and friendly service, and the food was great. They made me a salad version without the pita, but could still have traces of gluten. Seating area or take away, street food.

Pros: Simple menu of vegetarian and vegan options, Fast, Friendly

Pretty good fast food

Shared two vegan pita’s, both were tasty, but I’ve had better. One of them is with peanut sauce (big fan) and this one has the flavour of indonesian “pecel”. Jummy!

Pros: Good vegan options, Tasty

Cons: Not super special

Update: they have vegan tzatziki now :)

Update 09-12-2018:

They have vegan tzatziki for delivery now. Perfect food for a rainy Sunday, busy Tuesday or lazy lunch, pretty much anytime you crave a good gyro.

Love the soda selection!

Pretty good!

My housemate recommended me this place, he said "it's even better after an hangover.." haha no but to be serious the two vegan pitas are delicious!

Perfect for summer nights sitting outside and enjoying good food and good company.

No toilet, no service (it's take away but you can sit outside, cleaning after finishing eating)

Bikes parking nearby

Pros: Outside seating, Vegan gyros

Cons: When the weather is cold?, Price ...but Amsterdam

One of the best in Amsterdam

Can't believe there aren't more reviews here for Vleesch Noch Visch! While this is a food truck, they are typically parked on a nice square where you can eat. They offer two vegetarian and one vegan pita. The vegetarian ones can be easily made vegan. Really good fries. On sunny days, there are tables outside on the square to sit at. On icky days, you can order from Foodora and Thuisbezorgd. Really, really yummy and in our opinion by far the best veg pita's in Amsterdam.

Open air eating

Streetfood bar in the Westerpark area that serves 3 kinds of pita and a few side dishes. There are two vegan pitas and I chose the Indian version and my friend the Pita gyros. We were both very happy with our choice! It is indeed delicious, not too big though and a bit pricey for what you get. You can only pay with PIN card. There are a few tables outside so it is enjoyable to eat there on sunny days but for the rest of the year it's better to get a take away. Friendly staff. I will reapeat! Thank you!

Pros: Delicious food, Sitting outside

Cons: Pricey, Smallish portions

What a find!

The name translates to "Meat nor Fish". I just happened upon this Gyro stand and was SO happily surprised to find out that all their sandwiches (4 currently) are made with 100% veg "meat". Not only that, they are delicious and big. Prices are between 7.50 and 8.50 euros. They also sell a few natural drinks. They have no indoor seating, but It's located on a small plaza and they have several picnic tables around. It's a lovely setting on a nice day. Just one issue, they only accept PIN cards issued by Dutch institutions. Credit cards with chips don't work. The gal let me pay in cash as I had exact change, but I don't know if they'll always allow that.

Pros: Good value
