We LOVE coming to Vivir while visiting Findlay. Their plantain tacos and cauliflower tacos are delicious and can be made vegan by swapping out the sauce for any salsa (sauce used to be vegan but they changed the recipe to non vegan). The guacamole is scrumptious too! Our server, Ashley T, was so kind and considerate of our dietary needs and made recommendations to help us. She also noted that the potatoes for the potato taco might get cross contaminated in the fryer with fish or meat. Props to Ashley for being so aware and helpful!

Burritos, burrito bowls, and nachos can be made vegetarian by requesting the above mentioned taco protein options. & for a fully vegan meal request the vegan avocado lime sauce in substitution for any sauce listed.

Vegan mexican options - Edit
They have a few vegan options. Guac is good. They must work on that black beans. It did not taste good; it felt like they opened a can and just served it with no seasonings, no salt.

Seitan and tofu tacos - Edit
The tacos were good but lacked veggies and vegan cheese. It only became with the tofu or seitan and that is it.

Fun atmosphere and very nice decor. A bit pricey but the food is decent. I enjoyed my meal for the most part. You will find many vegan options to suite your needs. The alcoholic drink was great also.

Read moreThe vegan tacos are very nice with tofu and seitan options along with a cauliflower option. While they did not blow me away they are totally fine. The sauce at the table and the seasoned salt helped to amp up the flavor very nicely.

I would not hesitate to go back and hope the upcoming arrival of huitlacoche will bring some more vegan options.
