In love - Edit

Literally best veggie burgers I've ever eaten. I went here once and was sold for life. I couldn't stop thinking about this burger once I had one. Fun burger varieties, the most delicious bun I've ever eaten in my life. So good, love the atmosphere. Wish I could eat one now. Had the chocolate cake once, was not entirely impressed, but was good.

Pros: Best veggie burger in the world, Peaceful atmosphere

OH MY LORD - Edit

I've just finished the Blu burger. Like I'm literally still sitting here, and I was so excited by it that I had to post right now. It was amazing. A tiny bit pricey, but the burgers are huge and come with really tasty fries with a dollop of an herby mayo. Oh my god, eat here. So good.

Amazing food - Edit

Found them on Deliveroo. Ordered a burger and a wrap (on two different occasions) very generous portions and super tasty food. The spinach balls were to die for. Highly recommended

Best Vegan Burger EVER! - Edit

I absolutely loved this place. There is seating outside. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. The service was very friendly.

The only thing I was frustrated by is that they weren't open by 11AM to serve breakfast. I really wanted to try a vegan Spanish Omelette. They had a bread and tomato option they were able to serve, but be prepared to not find all the meal options on the menu available at any given time really. It's a we'll make it when we're ready to kind of culture.

Pros: Amazing food & beverages, great service, Outside seating area

Cons: Food ready time unreliable

Perfect Place - Edit

The service is great, the burgers are awesome and delicious. The first time I ate at Viva Burger I had the special of the day, I absolutely recommend you have the special, it includes the first dish, the burguer, drink, coffe and dessert. It was an amazing first experience. The portions are huge and everything on the menu is vegan so you don't have to worry.

Pros: A lot of food, All vegan menu, Delicious

Super Tasty Burger - Edit

Delicious burgers with some interesting flavour combinations... The Japanese and Chinese burgers sound really intriguing. I ordered the 'Garden', it was super fresh. Portions are quite big but so are the prices. No frills service from the waiter on the night we went, he was chill though. Rather this realness than try-hard politeness. Nice spot to eat out on the terrace also.

Pros: Very Tasty, Large Portion, Nice location

Cons: A little expensive

Eat big or go home. 👍🏻 - Edit

Amazing burgers! Really big, I had to take the rest back to the hotel. Seriously the best cheese burger I've ever had and came with wedges and sour cream dip, all for €13.50, which isn't bad for the amount you get. Nice atmosphere with a Moroccan feel from the lighting and furniture. We also took two of their cookies. €3.60 each, but they are the biggest cookies I've had, shared a photo, they're as big as my hand! Made with oats and chocolate chips. We also had two large juices, and they were LARGE, for €5.50 each. So a meal for two, came to around €44 with no tip. May seem expensive to some, BUT the price comes with the generous portion sizes. And the service was really quick. In and out in about 30-40mins. Friendly staff too.

Pros: Outdoor setting , Inside has air conditioning, Huge portains

Cons: None

best burgers I ever ate - Edit

this is with no doubt, the best burgers you can find, and all vegan. of course, you pay it, from my point of view, with a too high price (13'5 euros one burger with a few fries). if it was more affordable, I would give it the 5 starts.

Pros: quality, quantity, taste and flavor

Cons: too expensive

Sorprendente - Edit

Fantastic Burgers! - Edit

This is a really nice place with outdoor seating in a little square. When we went one evening it was absolutely packed, and initially there was only one person serving outside, so service was a little slow at first, but it picked up later and the food was worth the wait.

I had the smoked cheese and sun-dried tomato burger, which was really flavoursome. My partner had a burger with avocado and pico de gallo, which also tasted fantastic. The burgers were huge, as were the portions of potato wedges, which were crispy and beautiful.

I'd really recommend this place!

Pros: Flavoursome burgers, Huge portions

It's vegan but not at all - Edit

Giant hamburgers and giant wraps but with a very tiny portion of fries. Hopefully we ordered yuca as a starter (it is delicious). I did not like at all that they call themselves vegan, but they serve real cheese with almost everything, even as a dip over the fries. Also the waiter that attended us was not nice and helpful at all. Probably I will come back but it won't be soon.

Pros: Big hamburgers, Extended menu, Delicious yuca

Cons: Cheese everywhere!!!!, Quite expensive

Kukiaries 10 Jul 2016 - It is vegan indeed. All the cheeses they have are vegan, they just don't keep specifying it on their menu.
Anyway, you just gotta ask the workers and they'll tell you.

martinicontomate 10 Jul 2016 - I was told by the waiter that everything was vegan EXCEPTING the cheese, so...

Anyway, I will not insist on this topic. I still recommend this place.

Delicious vegeburgers, wide selection, casual - Edit

I ate here with about 10 omnis. Only one of the omnis knew it was a vegan place prior to arrival, so people were pretty surprised. But they went with it - a couple had to stare at the menu for some time before finding something to order, but eventually we all ordered our burgers. I ordered wine for the table and had a green smoothie myself. It was a social, so we also ordered appetizers, dessert, and coffee/tea. I have to say that people were blown away, kept saying they couldn't believe how good it was "even though" it was only vegetables etc. There is indeed a wide selection of different types of burgers and tastes.

While burgers on bread isn't generally my thing, this was a great meal and a lot of fun. I'm glad that dinner with double-digit omnis went so well, with so many positive comments. If you're traveling with a similar group (or not), this might be a great option for you.

Pros: Wide selection, clean and somewhat funky atmosphere, omnis will love it, and you will too

Cons: More options for whole-grain etc. bread

Nice place and Good food! - Edit

At first sight, the place appears unique and very stylish. Don't be fool: the prices are not as bad as a chic downtown restaurant.
A huge burger, that you'll finish only if uber hungry, costs 13,50 € with added baked potatoes and dipping. A wrap? 10,50€.
I had the Burger Queen and it was delicious, would love to try others from their selection.
My friend had an Arabic wrap and she didn't enjoy it as much since its sweet and sour flavour was too much to handle for her.
We tried a "bizcocho" together which is a spongy type of cake: tasty but not impressive.
Both of us had a pineapple cold tea and is was really good.
To be honest, the service wasn't one of the best but I get it since it was a busy night.

Overall I'd say I'll stop by another time if I'll ever visit Madrid again. The food and the atmosphere were remarkable.

Pros: Varied selection, Quick service, Great atmosphere

Cons: Service, Busy, Little dark inside

Unique Burger lives up to the hype! - Edit

The Burger Queen is full of flavor (not spicy), creamy and juicy with a little sweet. They have a menu in English, chic decor and a spacious dining area. This is my favorite vegan joint in Medieval Madrid.

It's mostly about the burgers here, but the have appetizers, fresh squeezed juice, wraps and desserts as well. Enjoy!

Pros: English Menu , Large portions , Fresh Juice

Yummy Burgers! - Edit

We came here for lunch on our last day in Madrid, and what a great 'last meal' it was! It was a Saturday afternoon, so the place was buzzing, but the staff were helpful and attentive, despite the fact that it was so busy. As mentioned in previous reviews, the menu is in Spanish, but our server translated for us. I had the vegan avocado burger and my partner had the burger with smoked vegan cheese. They were HUGE and came with tasty potato wedges. Delicious. I would definitely come here again, the food was great and the place was very cool.

Pros: Delicious burgers, Inexpensive, Cool vibe

Great food - Edit

This is in Plaza de Paja which we visited after a great time at El Rastro market (every Sunday!)You get off at La Latina metro and after the market it is about a five minute walk. The Plaza is pretty and full of people enjoying eating and drinking. Had such a great meal - the burgers are enormous and the wedges were cooked perfectly. Had to guess at the menu a bit as all in Spanish. The waiter was patient and charming and you can eat in the Plaza or inside - up or down. This is the best Veggie/Vegan restaurant I have come across in Spain. Also wonderful (and just on the corner of the same Plaza is a sit down vegetarian restaurant. Which is just called Vegetarian Restaurant from what I could tell! Also beautiful and has a good choice of hot and cold food. Can't fault it - you won't be dissapointed....

Pros: everything's amazing

Cons: A bugger to find the Plaza without a map

Excellent - Edit

We really enjoyed it here and returned for a second round of burgers during our short break in Madrid. We were made to feel welcome and the staff were friendly and enthusiastic, especially on our return visit. They are still working on an English menu, but the server helped us work out what each option was. We visited both in the evening and at lunch time when we sat outside in the pleasant square. About a third of the menu is vegan and these options are clearly marked.

The burgers themselves are basically all the same - a soya based burger that they make themselves. This is really tasty and seemed to contain some veggies as well as the soya making it meaty. The choice comes to the topping of which there are about 10 different combinations - including falafels, mushrooms, cheese etc. Both times I opted for the 'China' burger which was topped with lovely shitake mushrooms and maple nuts as well as salad, vegan sauce etc. This was delicious and the rustic bread bun didn't become soggy and fall apart. My partner had 'Burger Queen' which was goat's cheese and salad which he also really enjoyed, although it was packed a little too full for him to be able to pick it up and eat tidily - not that he was complaining. Both came with a small portion of potato wedges, however we also shared some yucca fries which came with two sauces which topped it off nicely.

If you get chance to visit while in Madrid I would highly recommend it.

Pros: Awesome burgers, Several vegan options,, Friendly staff,, Nice location, Good value

Cons: No English menu yet

Call ahead - Edit

I walked quite a way to get to this restaurant but it was closed. I would phone ahead to check the opening hours as I don't think the happy cow ones are accurate, at least not on the days I visisted!

Pros: Located on a nice plaza

Cons: Opening hours unclear

Good burgers and wraps - Edit

We ate here because it was one of the few vegan friendly places open all day (without a break between lunch and dinner). My husband had a wrap and I had the falafel burger. Both were good, but my burger came with what seemed to be a lot of vegan mayo which I didn't see on the menu (it was supposed to come with a mint sauce) and I don't particularly care for. The yuca fries were really good. Service was good, but the place was very busy and this was at 6pm which is usually a calm time for restaurants in Spain.
