Good grub

We were finally able to try this place after drooling over their social media posts for a long time. We really appreciated being able to pre-order on the website and do an easy pick-up during the lunch rush. We ordered the carnitas jackfruit OG burrito and the al pastor OG burrito; both were quite good. The tortillas were flaky, blistered, semi-transparent, and sturdy - the perfect vehicle. The proteins, beans and rice were all decent. The bar for excellence for Inland Empire vegan Mexican food, however, was definitely set by Just Vegana who always nailed every single element. That being said, we will happily return to Viva Vegan whenever we’re in the area.

Pros: Generous portions, Totally vegan

Cons: Expensive , So far from me

Authentic Mexican flavors!

Whatever you do just don’t hesitate to check this spot out you will not regret it. It’s definitely worth the drive if you’re a bit out of the vicinity.

So I ordered the al pastor tacos, jackfruit carnitas, quesabirria crunchy taco and an horchata. Everything was so delicious and flavorful! I especially enjoyed their al pastor tacos. It is definitely one of the best al pastor tacos I’ve had to date that is perfectly seasoned.

They are known for their tasty birria veg meat but they do offer a well rounded delicious and flavorful menu with plenty of options. A couple small critiques I do have is the horchata was a little thin on flavor and the crunchy taco is bit too oily for my taste but still good. However If you’re coming with an appetite make sure to order plenty of food as you’re likely to devour your meal and wanting more.

Delicious

The birria tacos were sooo good. Tasted better than actual birria. They got the spices right.

Birria birria birria

My first time here. They opened only a year ago, but I wish I'd known they existed sooner. The lady who runs it is such a sweetheart! I'm assuming she's the owner
I got the classic birria plate and an al pastor taco. Both were absolutely delicious!
Now that I know the base birria and salsas are really good, I can't wait to try all the combos : ) quesabirria, birria nachos, birria ramen, birria grilled cheese
The agua frescas are BIG and refreshing. Lightly sweetened with brown sugar, but not too much so the fruit flavors are still the stars

Pros: Everything birria!, Everything vegan!, Birria is bomb
