Read moreI went with a friend, the restaurant wasn't even half full yet it took 45 minutes for meal to come out meanwhile about four other tables that arrived after us got their meal first. The disappointment didn't stop there. For all the vegans out there please note that the only thing the enchiladas are stuffed with is some very sad salsa. That's it. No veggies just diced tomatoes and white onions.

When I think of Mexican food, I think of bright flavours and textures. This was not that food. The 2 vegan dishes were both a large plate of homogeneous taste and textures. The burrito is a ‘wet’ burrito, not dissimilar to the enchilada. I asked for the pico de Gallo substitute (rather than more refried beans): shredded iceberg lettuce with chopped tomatoes.
