Dentro de lo malo... - Edit
There is not much vegan option (not even vegetarian) in Burgos, so having a place to go even to have a coffee with vegetable milk, or eat something when there are no more places open, is fine. Still, it falls a bit short.

No quality food here.. - Edit
This place is right on the plaza facing the cathedral, so it’s wonderful views. But that’s about it. They offer a few dishes that are marked vegan in the menu, however the staff don’t understand what vegan is. When ordering gluten free bread (and asking if that too was vegan) to our vegan falafel plate we got a bun (that resembled something that would be served in an airplane) still packed in plastic. Good thing though - since we read it was eggs in it. The waiter was acting quite rude and unprofessional when we asked to change it to a vegan one, which he had promised from the start. The falafel, guacamole, hummus and fries were all store bought. Over priced. Also - they had no tofu (maybe just out of it when we were there?)

Ordinary - Edit
Menus in various languages which is a bonus. Clean, with efficient staff. Veg/vegan options not extensive but this is Spain... We had the falafal 'burger' with chips and salad with 2 large beers. Adequate.

Cons: Ordinary menu, Tables are a bit too close together for comfort

Not bad, not great - Edit
I liked the atmosphere and it is beautifully situated right opposite the cathedral. The English menu is clear, there are several vegan options and service was quite quick (it was fairly early). The vegetable curry was salty but tasty, but I was a bit disappointed in the quinoa. It was really just quinoa with cold corn, carrots and paprika. Would pick something else next time.

Average - Edit
Very good location next to the cathedral. We ate lunch here and it was very crowded. A lot of vegan options clearly marked with a V. It took a very long time to get service and to get the food, so don't go here if you're in a hurry. The food was a bit average as well.

Cons: Crowded, Service and food was slow, Average food

So glad we found this place in Burgos - Edit
This was the nearest of 3 Happy Cow choices to where we were staying & loved the food. The Vegan curry & Quinoa bowl was amazing so we shared. Would definitely return 👍👍👍

Great vegan options - Edit
Plenty of vegan options to choose from. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here on different days and I pretty much loved everything except I have found the cornflakes for breakfast to be just fit to feed a child, literally a spoonful. But they were kind enough to change the yoghurt to soy mylk for me even though it was not on the menu. Definitely recommend it!

Cons: They literally give a spoonful of cornflakes

great value breakfasr - Edit
We went here for breakfast which is a great deal: coffee/tea (they have soy milk!), fresh orange juice and 2 slices of deluciously oily toasted bread with tomatoe for just 3.80€! We came back for lunch behause the vegan restaurant was closed. The veggie and the Falafel burger were both ok but nothing special and not enough for us. Ordered some more fries and were happy!

Probably your best choice if visiting Burgos - Edit
Excellent cafe with a big choice of vegetarian/ vegan dishes. Every thing is clearly marked.
Read moreWarm friendly service, the waiter spoke good English and was happy to help.
It is extremely popular with locals and quite hard to get a table, but worth waiting for, there are very few options in Burgos!
About half the menu is vegetarian, fewer vegan options, but it is possible to eat three vegan courses.

Great veg options with an excellent view! - Edit
Not solely a vegetarian restaurant but very nice veg options. Excellent location in the plaza directly across from the Cathedral with great outdoor and indoor seating. Who wouldn't want a view of that impressive Cathedral? Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
