Large portions

This is across the street from the grain cafe. It’s the same owners so they also serve their amazing hot sauce at the table. We ordered hot wings, “turkey“ burger with sweet potato fries & falafel sandwich with French fries. Everything was fresh & delicious. The portions are huge and worth the price!

Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had??!!

My boyfriend and I had first tried The Grain Cafe across the street from this place, and didn’t like it. So, we decided to give Viva Falafel a try. AND IT WAS AMAZING!! The first time we went, we tried the teriyaki chick’n shish-kabob which was delicious and super filling! Only $14 for a gigantic plate of food. We also tried the falafel sandwich with fries. I kid you not this was some of the best falafel I’ve ever had! Way better than The HipPea in my opinion. The second round, we tried the pancake combo. The pancakes were pretty good (although my boyfriend prefers the ones we make). The hash browns were yummy and the chicken strips were to die for. We also split the falafel wrap which tastes exactly like the falafel sandwich with a side of hummus. The fries are freaking deliciousss! We love their fries and falafel! Next time, we wanna try the muffins and smoothies as well as the chicken pesto panini and breakfast sandwich!! Those look so yum!! One of our new spots for sure😄

Delicious breakfast

Got the omelette and it tasted and looked exactly like an egg omelette. Nice seating outside with trees that make you feel secluded from the sidewalk activity. Recommend 👍🏻

more than falafel!

Stopped by thinking I'd get some falafel, and we ended up sitting down to a nice brunch of vegan omelettes and sandwiches instead! What a delightful place, the staff was so nice and friendly, it's a happy joint😄Our food was delicious and I'll definitely drop by for anything from a smoothie to a dinner next time. What's wonderful is that this small place is totally holding it's own across from the larger The Grain across the way. I'm glad it's a vegan corner of Long Beach, both places are delicious, but I actually liked my brunch here better!

Pros: Variety, Delicious, Small business enthusiasm

Cons: parking, but that's everywhere LB

great muffin sandwiches

Muffin sandwiches are amazing. The fries/potatoes are not amazing, and a bit overcooked for my taste. Not on the menu, but you can have salad as a side instead of potatoes or fruit. I highly recommend, their salad is delicious.
Kombucha on tap. Very mild, and more like a kombucha sparkling water.
I found the wraps a bit dry, but I usually like them dripping with sauce

Best Falafel wraps!

Opposite the Grain Cafe in the 'Vegan Quarter', lots of wraps and sandwiches available, menu has a Mediterranean vibe to it.

Pros: Good value for money

Great Vegan Addition to Long Beach

Try the pomegranate lemonade! Everything is vegan. The breakfast sandwiches are especially good, as is the falafel.

Pros: 100% vegan

Great addition!

Had a breakfast sandwich here. Super delicious. It might seem redundant to have a falafel place with HipPea so close by, but it's definitely more than a falafel place. Might benefit from a name change honestly. Def recommend!
