Mediocre - Edit
This place is known for their salt bread.
Read moreWe came here and tried a few different things. Everything was very dry except the salt bread. We didn't finish most of what we bought. I wouldn't buy any of those things again The salt bread wasnt amazing. Admittedly its not my favorite thing but Ive had better. If i was in the area i would considering picking some up but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.
I am really bothered by how theres no labeling inside. Vegan salt bread, vegan cheese salt bread, and non-vegan salt bread are all next to each other. For the customer theyre indistinguishable, although the owner can tell them apart.
Theres no space inside to eat and the layout feels like it wastes a lot of space.

not a vegan cafe - Edit
There are some non-vegan breads which are labeled on the outside window but not inside. The owner was quick to tell us which were which but still I think they should be labeled.
Read moreThe salt bread was just ok, but not very flavorful. There are ones with cheese inside too. The other things we had were pretty dry, and definitely would have been better with a beverage. I didn’t like the earl gray scone at all.
There’s no seating inside.
Cons: nowhere to sit

Hooked on salt bread! - Edit
Their salt bread is totally addictive. Make sure to ask which are vegan because she sometimes makes a few with real butter for neighbors.

Vegan scone diversity - Edit
This vegan bakery offers mostly sweet scones and madeleines.
Read moreThey have a small menu for drinks as well, mostly tea and simple coffee drinks (with soy milk).
The taste is good for home-style baking. They use whole-grain and rice flour, and the bakery items still taste like proper dessert. The scones are more like big cookies, but scones are usually a bit dry in Korea.
Just the prices for food are a bit high, e.g. a small scone can cost as much as 5000 KRW, and one madeleine is almost 3000 KRW.
Because of the pandemic, only take-out is possible at the moment. Otherwise, there would be some space for customers to sit, according to the owner. That area is now guarded by a little Shibainu.
By the way, they bake on location, so the interior smells sweet and chocolatey!
The bakery is located in a residential area, amidst apartment complexes and schools. It's a quiet neighborhood and it seems surprising that there's this tiny vegan bakery hidden here.
Pros: taste good, good ingredients
Cons: no seating, pricey
