Not Vegan Friendly - Edit
Only vegan choices were the worst falafal I've ever had (US or Mediterranian) or garden salad.

MashaKaganovich 13 Jan 2015 - This review is not correct! Vitalis bistro offers many vegan options: all crepes can be made with no eggs and soy milk, all salads including Israeli, Greek, garden, Asian slaw, etc. pizza and most desserts can be made GF and from kamut flour. Why are you ruining a reputation of a great vegetarian cafe where everything is made fresh from scratch? It's only a small private and healthy neighborhood place that is trying to survive and compete against the big name places. What is the point- just to throw a bad, biased and simply untruthfull review?!

Nice and cozy place with super-friendly service! - Edit
I've been here several times, and every time I wanted to come back and tested something else from their menu. I am not a big fan of vegetarian lifestyle, but these guys... they even make their very own dessert poppy-seed rolls!
Pros: tasty food, excellent service, friendly staff, Wi-Fi, convenient location, live music at eves
Cons: they do not serve alcohol beverages yet...
Best dish: crepes with mushrooms and salmon, veggie sushi
Recommended: definitely
Overall: 5 out of 5 - its more than just a New York style bistro.
Pros: tasty food, friendly staff, live music
Cons: no alcohol
