Mostly uncaged and democratic. - Edit

This branch is slightly smaller than the one at Viktualienmarkt but it has a decent range of goods, including a chilled section featuring differently flavoured tofus. There's also a nice beer section on one of the shelves. The shop is one for general healthy groceries and pantry supplies. There's no fresh produce section filled with energized vegetables and fruit. You can easily walk here from any part of downtown Munich.

Pros: Its existence., Its healthiness., Its calming effect.

Located on a beautiful street - Edit

A well stocked health food shop. There are hundreds of these in Germany and they are usually a first port of call when visiting a new city. Superb deli section, a wide range of vegetarian and vegan groceries and usually a decent offering of fresh fruit and breads. The famous Prinz Myshkin vegetarian restaurant is very close by on Hackenstr.
