Best vegan pizza - Edit
Everything we got was amazing. We got garlic knots, pasta, pizza and ice-cream. It was the best vegan pizza we have had yet. It is always nice going to a vegan restaurant and not worrying about double checking the ingredients list. I would definitely go there more often if we lived close enough to.

I’ll be honest - I wanted to like this place. I ordered two pies and a salad for dine in. While YVR isn’t known for its pizza, I expected a lot more from Virtuous Pie given the positive reviews. However the pizza I ate tasted like it came from my middle school cafeteria. Bread was thin and tasteless. Sauce was nothing special. Cheese tasted fine but nothing you can’t find at a grocery store. The fake chicken was nice. On top of the mediocre food, the service was fairly inattentive and cold.

Single-serve pizzas, we tried the spicy Italian (actually spicy and the mock meats were delicious), the ultraviolet (a pesto dream), and the superfungi (amazing for mushroom lovers). I could eat the garlic knots by the dozen, and the cannoli was incredible (earl grey filling!). The pizza was also pretty good reheated. For the flavor I’d say the pricing is pretty reasonable too: a portion of garlic knots and a cannoli came to about 14 dollars)

The pizzas and ice cream are so good, and so unique. I've gonna there time and again with my friends who aren't vegan, its a great introduction for them to see the options around. Pro tip, get the garlic knots. Food is fresh and inspired. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it's a bit on the pricey side for the size of the portions, and (before covid anyway) you will be standing up in a line for a long time before you place an orderand then loitering around outside a long time before a seat opens up. I wish this place was twice as big -

We visited on Aug 13, 2020 and had the Mac and cheese skillet and sweet pepper and sausage pizza. Both were fabulous. We finished off with a scoop of peanut butter and jelly ice cream and salted caramel and pretzel.

“Superfunch" CA14, I don’t like to eat arugula, but I actually think that arugula and mushrooms are very good match; I personally recommend “Grandma Pie" CA14. Different vegan cheeses are mixed together, a bit sour but specially appetizingt; those who like spicy food can challenge the “Calabrese" CA14. I took a bite and my face became red and hot immediately (I can’t eat spicy food)

The pizzas here are tasty, thin base, nice crust and the cheeses are bouncy on the Margharita pizza - this one is our go to.

The Stranger wings pizza was also very good, could be a little less salty.
I wish the pizzas were bigger every time, but somehow, I always have left overs!
Finally had the Ultraviolet pizza - the pine nuts on there was lovely, kale was awesome, juicy tomatoes, everything about it was yums. The CBR is still the best though in my opinion ;)
Compared to the Virtuous Pie in UBC, this joint is kind of a nightmare if you don't like sitting with strangers, not enough space to chill and do your thing.

Portland imported vegan pizza place. The already prepared menu is great. Easy to choose the best one for you. Get a few with friends and try more. The cauliflower one was really good. Pizzas come out fast. They had a purple kombucha too. Nice atmosphere with big tables and big windows to people watch.
