Best vegan pizza - Edit
Everything we got was amazing. We got garlic knots, pasta, pizza and ice-cream. It was the best vegan pizza we have had yet. It is always nice going to a vegan restaurant and not worrying about double checking the ingredients list. I would definitely go there more often if we lived close enough to.

We walked from our hotel to Virtuous Pie and it was worth the walk! It’s located in/near Chinatown which I really enjoyed seeing. We ordered the Sweet Mary Jane w/o parmesan and the Ultraviolet. Both were very good. The sweet mary jane reminded us of a classic pepperoni pizza while the ultraviolet was new and innovative, loved the pesto and kale on it! the house made cheese was good without being gluey and the wood fired crust was so crispy. I also got the house made lemonade which was nice and refreshing. There is almond parmesan located on the tables for sprinkling which is a great touch. Would definitely come back to try more pizza and things!

After a long travel day we were all hungry and needed…pizza! This all Vegan spot was perfect. The counter staff was friendly and gave us a few travel tips, too! The crust is to die for and the toppings are fresh and imaginative. They also have interesting drinks and I heard the ice cream is great, but we were well-satisfied with our pies.

The food is delicious and freshly made, served hot (which i love). The mac and cheese is to die for, so creamy and flavorful. We ate an Ultraviolet pizza and a Don Ricotta (without olives and red onion, my husband is a bit difficult). The crust is delicious and the different flavors mix so well, especially the hot hunnie, caramalized onions and capers. The almond parmesan on the table is really appreciated!

Delicious starter knots (especially the dip) and Caesar salad. The Chicken Alfredo left something to be desired, but perhaps that’s what they always taste like, it’s been so long. The seats aren’t particularly comfortable, it felt a bit cafeteria like. I recommend seat cushions.

Three of us got the shareable kale Caesar salad and three pizzas. It was too good not to eat it all! (We were stuffed!) Generous sized salad for sharing and good Caesar flavor. We had the Ultraviolet, Superfunghi, and Sweet Mary Jane pizzas. All delicious. We’re already planning to return. Good service, casual/clean space, and good prices.

Read moreOver the years, I’ve tried several pizzas as well as salad, pasta and ice cream - occasionally in the restaurant but usually by delivery.
Most of the time, it’s pretty delicious but I took a star off because the restaurant isn’t always consistent and sometimes you get a pizza that’s a little dry and low on sauce and/or toppings.
Try to hit up their happy hour for discounted pizza!

Modern, small restaurant where you get all different kind of pizza options, but mostly not the average ones. Yes you can order a margarita pizza, but we liked to taste the different ones. We had cauliflower and the bacon-honey one (vegan ofc). The cauliflower would have gone better with a tomato base and I did not taste any blue cheese taste (but that’s just my opinion), but the bacon-honey was perfect just the way it was. Happy hour gives you 50% off 4 different pizzas and cheaper home made lemonade, which I recommend (either seasonal one or lemonade, both were great).

Amazing pizza restaurant in Vancouver. The pizza was really good and the toppings were delicious. Service was super friendly and helpful. We tried one of the cocktails too which was great. Finally dessert - it was divine! We would go back just for that. Must try :)

A 100% vegan menu establishment with thin crust pizzas! What I appreciate about virtuous pie is that they use more “natural” ingredients for their pizzas. What I mean by this is that they aren’t trying too hard with artificial ingredients to get a non-vegan pizza taste. They rock with what’s already available and they do it well.

We started with a Caesar salad which was so creamy and flavorful, it comes with two big pieces of their amazing focaccia bread with butter garlic. Then we had a Little Italy and a Margherita pizza, both very delicious and generously served, I saved some pizza so I could have a scoop of their wonderful maple butter pecan ice cream… OMG it was heavenly! One of the best ice creams you will ever have, not too sweet and with the perfect balance of flavors! This place is a must. Shout out to Karla and the rest of the crew who give outstanding service!

This quaint restaurant has not only delicious food but also very friendly and helpful service! Our group enjoyed the garlic knots and an arugula salad to start. The salad was perfect and so flavorful! We tried 4 different pizzas and they were all amazing!! The hot honey that came on one of the pizzas is made out of apples and not from the bees!

After a recommendation from MILA nearby, we went to try the peach basil ice cream but treated ourselves to the full dessert offering, including a cookie ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream, lemon cannoli and ice cream flight with peach basil, vanilla and strawberry lemonade. Each dessert was very special! The cookies were freshly baked and delicious! There were only a few ice creams in stock, but the flavours we tried were some of the best we've ever had! And for what we paid, we felt the desserts were impressive sizes - especially the flight of ice cream with large scoops of each!

My husband and I visited Virtuous Pie before a concert and were delighted with their pizzas on the summer menu. He had the hawaiian and I had the street corn pizza and a couple beer each. Both were delicious but the street corn was the favourite of the two. We found the hawaiian very sweet but still tasty. I also like how they offer sparkling water and not just flat water to drink. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We found that it was pretty good value for the amount of food we got. Would definitely return.

...maple walnut ice cream too! Attentive service, cozy atmosphere and more delicious options than a vegan can shake a stick at. The Caesar salad was hands-down a favorite at our table. I wish they sold their dressing in a bottle...I'd be stocking up!
