It’s always a treat when as a plant based person I can order literally anything on the menu - it’s even better when every single thing is fantastic. While by no means the healthiest meal it’s a fantastic plant based treat. We ordered three different pizzas to share and they were all amazing. The salads were a good portion and really tasty and their ice cream was among the best dairy free I’ve had. My only regret is I don’t live closer. Also most things can be made gluten free as well!

Their pizza is great! Our favourite is Stranger Wings. I love the texture of their cheeses - nothing slimy here! They also have seasonal pizzas which is nice. The front-end service can be touch and go but the food makes up for it.

Ordered the mac sheezza (mac and cheese pizza) and the pepper and sausage pizza. Both were incredible and I will be dreaming about their mozzarella for days. Also had a side kale caesar salad, which was so delicious. I honestly can't believe it's all vegan. So great. I can't wait to have it again, and I will make a point of visiting them in person next time.

honestly this place is perfection, an incredible variety of super tasty pizzas, we had the chicken pesto CBR and the mac n cheeza (Mac and cheese ON pizza !!!) with the garlic knots (divine). a fantastic selection of locally brewed beers on tap, finished off by great flavours of vegan ice cream. everything on the menu is plant based too, and the cheese is sooooo realistic and creamy! fantastic service and a great vibe to the restaurant, will definitely be back!!!

Everything I've had here was so delicious. Love the caesar salad and garlic knots. Meatballs were pretty good but I'm personally not in love with seitan. Their pizzas are also delicious and a pretty good size. Only thing I'd like would be some pizzas with the regular amount of cheese on them because I love a good vegan cheesy pizza! Their selection of ice cream is great too. It is pretty small though so there aren't a ton of seats. Service is great! Was a bit confusing when we first walked in though - thought it was a sit down restaurant but then they told us to order at the back of the restaurant.

Clean modern fast-casual vegan pizza joint - Edit
The layout and exact style of fast-casual dining offered here is pretty awkward...and made me immediately skeptical about eating here as we were really hungry.
Read moreYou have to walk all the way through the narrow restaurant to get to the counter & order. I don’t remember if there was no large menu posted...or there was and it was really tough to read. Their paper menus were hard to find as well, but there were a few near the register. Beer list was vague and nobody could describe any of the drafts offered. Do I get my own water?
Sound like I hate this place? I don’t. I just really dislike being unnecessarily confused about ordering/protocol when I walk into a new restaurant. Once we sat down, we enjoyed the rest of our time here.
We ordered conservatively & ate:
Pizza (Walnut Arugula Pesto, Cashew Mozzarella, Oven Dried Tomatoes, Kale, Caramelized Onion, Pine Nuts). Extremely delicious thin crust pie w/flavorful toppings!!
Meatballs & Sauce (soy protein & gluten balls with a tasty marinara) The texture of the balls was on the airy, squishy, and spongy side...but they held their shape well. Sauce was great.
We finished and enjoyed everything ... could have used another small app to fill us up, but that’s our bad for ordering light.
Hint: there is a world-class craft beer bar across the street...make sure to check it out after having some tasty pizzas here!

Pizza is excellent, some of the best vegan pizza I've ever had. But the service was poor/nonexistent, and it's bloody expensive for the small individual portion size. So I'll go back but it won't be a regular thing for me.

I’ve been going to the Virtuous Pie’s in Vancouver for years while traveling there for work, and I am so happy there is finally one in Toronto. This is 100% the best vegan pizza.
Read moreThe Ultravoilet and Margarita pizzas are my favourite, as well as the Roast Harissa Cauliflower small plate. They have kombucha on tap, as well as a small selection of beer and wine. The ice cream is also amazing!
I would skip the Italian Meatballs small plate. The texture is very mushy, and the flavour just isn’t there. The only thing I’ve had there that I wouldn’t order again.
They also do delivery!
Pros: Amazing pizza, Good vibe, Friendly staff

Delicious pizza without feeling greasy - Edit
We ate here on New Years Eve and it was fantastic. The Stranger Wings pizza was on the spicy side, but that suits us just fine. The chorizo and artichoke pizza was a perfect combination, savoury but not heavy. The vegan goat cheese topping was phenomenal, I'm still trying to figure out how they make it. I was really impressed with the food quality, I didn't feel like anything was doused in grease, and all the ingredients complimented each other. The appetizer's looked phenomenal, and we'll be making a return trip for the ice cream. They also sell ice cream by the pint which was a bonus. I would love if the sold individual slices, hopefully that might be something for the future!
