Best cake in Mexico! - Edit
I came for the ramen and samosas, and I decided on a whim to get the strawberry beet cake. I’ve never had such good cake anywhere in Mexico! It was moist and fluffy and fruity and not too sweet. The next time I go I’ll get the spicy ramen because the ordinary ramen left something to be desired there. I’m never sure if dishes in Mexico that are labeled as spicy will be too spicy for me. There’s a huge difference between “spicy for a gringo” and “spicy for a Mexican.” The samosas were yummy with two sauces. One was a guacamole type sauce (although I am not sure if it was avocado or nopal) and the other sweeter. I was expecting a tamarind sauce, but this was something new. Neither was at all spicy, so I would probably ask for a medium spicy sauce on a return trip.

Small restaurant a bit outside the center but the food is absolutely delicious and the owners are really nice. I can really recommend the daily menu which includes four different vegan dishes.

Unfortunately when we went they didn't have everything on the menu and, as the menu is not massive, we didn't have a lot to choose from. One of our choices was a small main but even though we order the small dish it didn't feel like a main at all. Our second option was a ramen and even though it was tasty, there was hardly any ingredients in it to eat apart from the sauce and the noodles.

Amazing vegan spot in Oaxaca - Edit
I tried it all in the city of Oaxaca and this is a solid spot with delicious flavors. I ordered menu de dia and all four dishes were super tasty. It’s also very affordable. Highly recommended!

The sushi is served with a soup of the day, water/ tea of the day and an amazing dessert for just 150 pesos, we also had the plate of the day served with the same side dishes for 80 pesos! Very tasty and made fresh with love!
