Not the best of the vegan options in STGO - Edit
I wasn’t a huge fan of this place. My dish was super salty, my partner’s was undercooked cabbage. Nicely plated, but unfortunately not great food.

Read moreThe dishes all looked colorful and tasteful with uncommon combinations of flavors and some exotic ingredients. Probably our expectations were too high, the food is not bad but it is not great either. Some of the exotic ingredients were not even seasoned. The soup was oily, the mushroom dish lacks salt (and it was not worth the price), and the tofu dish was good, probably the best that we had tried, but still, it lacks some power. Overall a decent meal, healthy, not simply a "burger with fries", nice place with lots of plants .. but the food was not special, maybe even a bit pretentious. Or just our expectations were too high.

El local es precioso, la atención es increíble. Pedimos unas Papas Azulillo para compartir, pero encontré que estaban demasiado saladas para mi gusto. Como plato de fondo pedí el Tofu Anjolí, que estaba espectacular. Soy fanática del tofu, pero aún así creo que también es un excelente plato para a quienes no les guste tanto. Las opciones veganas son casi 50% de la carta y probé otras dos, pero el tofu fue mi favorito.
Read moreUpdate: volví, pedí la ensalada de quinoa y estaba maravillosa, también pedimos los 3 postres veganos de la carta y son lo más rico que he comido en mi vida (especialmente la milhojas). Es pet friendly y cómodo para gente en silla de ruedas.
Update: Soy cliente frecuente, pero debo decir que esta última visita fue distinta, la atención de la mesera fue fría y descuidada, no tenían todos los platos del menú el fin de semana y eso lo deberían avisar antes de ir a tomarnos el pedido del plato de fondo y si hay algún cambio en un plato por falta de ingredientes, también se debería avisar. Además, no había papel en el baño (y no es la primera vez que nos pasa).
Pero lo que me parece más importante es que recién me entero que el helado que siempre pido (en un postre vegano) no es vegano, nadie me lo había dicho hasta hoy y eso que siempre pido lo mismo.

Great place to have lunch, dinner o just a couple drinks. I really like it here. The girls were super friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend trying their desserts (milhoja cake) and hummus copihue if you feel like having a filling starter. Papas azullilo are great as well. I would say Violeta is part of my top 5 in Barrio Italia.

We had lunch on the very nice terrace. The food was amazing, beautifully arranged, tasty and healthy. The vegan dishes are clearly labelled and they have plant milk (soy, almond).
