The food was very delicious, they have a changing vegan option and also opted to bring me a vegan appetizer. The portion could have been more but overall I was satisfied.
Read moreWhat really stood out was the dessert, 2 red pears. Didn't epexct much and got blown away by it!

Vinterhagen only offers one vegan option on their menu. When I was there, 16th of April, this was a quinoa burger with vegan cheese, roasted vegetables, and a carrot sauce.
Read moreThe food tasted amazing, but the atmosphere was even more wonderful. Vinterhagen (Wintergarden) is a true plant paradise. It's a welcome change from the snowy Svalbard spring.

Lunch and dinner options - Edit
Lunch is great and is different every single day. The staff make the meals from scratch so it is not a problem to make something vegan. All their lunch dishes that I had were wonderful.
Read moreDinner only has one option and it is a quinoa steak. It's good. It's pricey, and it's the only thing they offer. It's worth a try but it is a shame that it's the only option as I wasn't interested in coming back and having the same dinner meal.
