Great vegan pies but beware of mix up! - Edit
They have 3 vegan pies on the menu so we ordered all three to try.
Read moreAll of them were delicious but one had suspicious cheese strings in it.
We asked the server and she told us that she was told that all vegan pies are in a separate fridge so this one must be vegan.
So we finished the pies and only afterwards thought about googling it. Turns out, Pukka only has 2 vegan pies in their range and you can tell them apart by the colour of their tin form.
We got our money back for the wrong pie and she was deeply sorry for the mistake and even gave us free vegan popcorn chicken as compensation.
Mistakes happen, we are all human, so I still give 4 stars since the other 2 pies and the popcorn chicken were delicious and good value for money.
Just watch out in which tin form colour your pie comes in.

Authentic Chippy Taste, Paltry Portions - Edit
It was amazing to have such a wide range of options available and while I did really enjoy the food, the size of the portions in relation to the cost left a lot to be desired. That said, if I needed my chip shop fix I would certainly contemplate returning.

Perfect after a night out! - Edit
Came here after a night out and loved it! They have a separate vegan menu with a big selection and me and my wife went for a portion of 20 Quorn vegan nuggets (they weren't actually on the menu in store but I'd seen them online for delivery), vegan battered sausage (comes in a portion of 2), large chips, mushy peas and gravy. The nuggets were really tasty and it was fun getting such a large portion to share! The battered sausages were also great with a nice fresh, crispy batter, and I also enjoyed the chips although we had so much food I couldn't actually finish them!
Read moreIt was also great value (we paid less than £15 for all that food) and it's open till midnight every day apart from Friday and Saturday when it's open till 3 am. Perfect for after a night out or if you're just craving some late night junk food!

Great to see more chippys have vegan options. They had three different pies and even vegan Ben and jerrys ice creams.
