Tasty Vegan Food - Edit
We stayed at this hotel and ate at the Corona restaurant twice. It's the only restaurant with a separate vegan menu with plenty of options. The service was fantastic and the view spectactular. What I loved most was the artisitic presentation of the meals. The attention to detail never went unnoticed.

Not for vegans - Edit
Do not eat here. There are other places in Puerto Vallarta that cater to vegans; this place definitely does not.
Read moreI showed up at noon on a Sunday and asked if they have vegan options. I was seated and then offered things that are obviously not vegan (omelettes, waffles). They said they normally have a vegetarian menu, but for some reason didn't at that time. After I explained a few times what vegan means, they offered to make a dish, which turned out to be a portabella mushroom with some carrots and tomato sauce on top. It was like a stereotype of what a chef who has no idea what vegans eat thinks a vegan would eat. There was also a side of rice, which tasted like it was probably cooked in chicken broth.
I gave it two stars rather than one, because the staff was nice and the view of the ocean is beautiful.
Pros: Nice atmosphere
Cons: Lack of vegan options, Staff doesn't understand what vegan means

Ocean front fine dining. - Edit
This beautiful little boutique hotel has 3 open air restaurants around their pool. One is ocean front and the others only steps away. You can request the vegan/ vegetarian menu at any of these 3. You do have to request the vegan option even from that menu as many dishes have cheese. However I ate every meal there for 5 full days and my many requests were all done without any fuss. The staff were more that happy to make suggestions and go above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Hands down the best food and wine I have ever had anywhere in Mexico!
