Wow! The best food in Malapascua - Edit
So yummy! We went to other places before & after eating here, we were so sad we didn’t go earlier! The vegan Adobo is one of the best foods we’ve ever tried - so good!

Best vegan option on Malapascua - Edit
We loved the food here, and tried many dishes during our 4 days on the island. Our favorites were the Native Adobo, Indian Pie and Mushroom Sissig. We wanted to take a packed lunch for our journey back south but they only had breakfast options available in the morning. The garlic rice was disappointingly plain and small and came with a fried egg despite informing them we were vegan.

Our second home - Edit
We stayed in Malapascua for about nine days. We ate here every single day and tried almost the entire menu between two of us. 100% would recommend. We got to know the staff who were amazing and the food was so good! They have no problem substituting coconut milk for coffee or smoothies. A few of the vegan “subs” just remove egg or cheese and don’t add anything (eg. Shakshuka is just tomato base) so maybe pick something that is fully vegan to start. It’s also on the beach and only 200 pesos for a dish.

Cons: Accidentally puts cheese on some things

Awesome place! - Edit
Really cool spot on the beach, all veggie and vegan food, more than affordable for an island, great staff, overall a great place. The smoothies are UNREAL!
Read moreCan’t give 5 stars due to my own experience, the shawarma arrived with cheese so had to wait another 20 mins to be remade (which I appreciate), but it came without nachos, despite the menu saying they give a side of nachos, that was a real shame.
Be sure to specialise twice that you want vegan options, so no condensed milk in smoothies, no cheese, mayo, etc etc. because they will state they know the difference but still might bring you something not vegan.
But, despite that, I will definitely be coming back!

Excellent vegan food - Edit
Our favourite restaurant in Malapascua! We ate here everyday, usually twice a day. The vibe is excellent and the food is even better. Everything is vegetarian (most items can be veganised), delicious and cheap.
