CLOSED: Villa MaJo

Für mich bedeutet veggi/vegane Küche, dass viel mit frischen Zutaten, Gemüse und Hülsenfrüchten gekocht wird. Hier leider nicht. Es scheint, als hätten sich die Betreiber hauptsächlich auf Fleischesser als Kunden eingestellt, denen man nun was "herzhaftes" bieten müsse, um krampfhaft zu beweisen, dass vegan auch deftig sein kann. Bratkartoffeln, Maultaschen, sonstige Beilagen schmecken einfach nur nach Rauch und Räuchertofu. Dafür wird an sonstigen Gewürzen gespart. Wir haben einen Teil des Essens zurück gehen lassen, weil es verbrannt war. Auf der Karte gab es ein einziges Gericht ohne Rauch, das mit frischem Gemüse zubereiten wurde, das bei unserem Besuch aber schon ausverkauft war. Pluspunkte gibt es aber für die sehr nette Bedienung.

This one is a great restaurant with a friendly staff and very good meals. I had the vegan "Döner" and it tasted absolutely delicious. I guess there speciality are the desserts though. Because the raw vegan cakes were that tasty and yummy!

Places like this are rare!
The food (soup "Jägerschnitzel", creme de la creme) was all great and beautifully arranged. The portion of the Jägerschnitzel was quite big, I had to take half of it with me. The place seems to be professsionally managed. I got a tasty bread with spread as a free starter and the staff is very attentive.
The only things I can remark are the many dishes that are labeled like meat dishes (can´t we find better names?) and that it is quite expensive.

A place with top vegan and mostly organic food and friendly staff. They also offer acommodation for a fair price.

The small menue serves nearly every taste. We had home made Maultaschen (jackpot!), Jägerschnitzel with pan fried potatoes, the burger and a large salad. Starters were good as well.
The vegan organic red wine is outstanding, no need to order by glass, go for the bottle immediately ;-)
