Outstanding! - Edit

This place is awesome! The location up on a hill with that view is priceless. They also offer such great vegan dishes and yummy treats. Attached is also a small but well-sorted health shop.

Tastefully done meals and ambiance - Edit

Such a beautiful setting to enjoy the curated meals by chefs from Europe. My only concern is that it has quite the price tag and to top it off, there is vat so it becomes even more expensive. I had one of the patties changed because it contained fish. I had a quinoa pattie instead but the price remained the same even if the quinoa patty was cheaper

Pros: good view, good ambiance, good food

Cons: price, price

worth it! - Edit

Expensive, yes, delicious, yes. The view is perfect, it’s easy enough to get there and back in a truck, the cheesecake was vegan and amazing! So smooth and light and creamy. Also had mezzo plate, it was huge, plus charcoal burger which was vegan and ok but not super tasty but bland. The sweet potato fries were a bit raw, but tasty. I would very happily return, I’d love to have the vegan pancakes and about 20 other vegan things!

Pros: beautiful setting, so many vegan options

Cons: expensive and slow service

Our best meal on the island - Edit

Saw this place on Happycow and read the reviews, so when we went to Samui we made a point to eat here. Here's my Vikasa Yoga review.

This place is gorgeous. We came for the food, not yoga. Our meal was fresh and really delicious. Indeed, the prices were not cheap - it's more western style & standard, but it's to be expected when you want to dine in a beautiful setting with fresh, "safe" food. Would like to visit again.

Pros: fresh food, vegan-friendly

expensive - Edit

The restaurant is nice . Beautiful view . The food is not bad especially the raw cakes . But it's overpriced and because it's a yoga place we are really disappointed that is not at least vegetarian . Another place built just for yoga business.

been here a few times - Edit

We've been here for a few times. Last time was yesterday, with their new menu. First of all, prices are much above other veg/veg-friendly places here on Koh Samui. Salads & main dishes start at 290 baht, smoothies — 180 baht. Regular prices are 2-3 times lower, and you can find not a bad food for this. Second, I've ordered Mediterranean Plate and it was the worst hummus I'd ever had on Samui (comparing to 5 other places on the island), tasteless falafels, no feeling of good/healthy food afterall. (Firstly, I wanted to have Burrito with avocado but they told they had no avocado… but served avocado to my wife in her Asian Bowl…) My wife's impression of her meal wasn't quite high as well. The last thing I want to tell owners: having alcohol drinks in a yoga place is *ridiculous*. Even having fish/seafood is at least strange… but alcohol — nothing to dispute here.

Pros: great view, unique meals

Cons: prices

Great dinner buffet. Almost all vegetarian. - Edit

My wife and I had a great dinner buffet there. We arrived near the buffet start at 630. All but one of the options were vegetarian friendly, which was great. Ate to our hearts content, and then some more when the fresh fruit platter was put out for dessert. The chick peas - steamed and lightly seasoned were out of this world. Dinner buffet was at 450baht per person.

Pros: Yummy salads. Clean food. Great setting overlookin

Best in Samui - Edit

This was the best find while in Samui. They offer a buffet which is mostly for yoga students, but outsiders are also welcome. The food I had was fresh and perfectly spiced. They use many organic ingredient, and offer herbal tea. Definitely worth trying if you're on Samui. Call first to confirm opening times, etc.

Pros: great food, nice people, beautiful space

Great place - Edit

Plenty of the diners were on fasting programmes so there was plenty of chat about eating issues. The menu has an extensive raw food range, but plenty of cooked food too. It was all tasty and good value. Also a huge range of healthy fruit drinks.

The location is fantastic; right on the beach. It's not too expensive and there's a pub across the road if you want to combine it with a slightly less 'zen' premier league game!

Pros: Tasty food, Large and varied menu, Location

Cons: also serves fish

Very nice - Edit

Very nice setting, with a great view overlooking the blue waters and cliff below. Thorough raw and vegan-friendly options and I got the impression you can veganize just about anything. A bit expensive at around 200-300 baht per entree. I had a vegan burrito that was absolutely delicious. My husband had green curry and steamed rice that had nice spicing. Great little spot and a welcome relief from the unhealthy and cookie cutter fair in nearby Lamai.

what a haven! - Edit

Excellent organic, heavily veg based menu and buffets. raw vegan options. All real, whole foods. I was having food allergy issues at another resort, the VIkasa staff came right over and picked me up, moved my stuff, worked with me to get my food issues under control! Very helpful and knowledgable. Just expanded their raw menu offerings, the menu was created by several world renown chefs and the owner, Costa. Also excellent yoga classes, nice ambiance in the restaurant, nice feel to the resort, beautiful views from the cliff side rooms. I have stayed here 3 times now and consider it my Koh Samui base.

This is a very special Yoga and Raw Food Retreat, hosted by one of the best raw food chefs, Boris Launser and the founder of Vikasa Yoga, Konstantin Miachin. Boris Lauser actually won the best raw food chef award in Europe! Amazing, isn't it? http://www.evolutionofyoga.com/yogaandrawfood/
