I was keen to get a cinnamon swirl but I was still surprised and pleased with a pepperoni focciacia with a delicious vegan mayo. The non alcoholic beer is also excellent so I highly recommend it for beer enjoyers.

Unique food and great vibe - Edit
We stopped here this past summer and almost tried all the food. It was so good! We were really excited to try traditional dishes made vegan. The owner was so nice and made sure our experience was the best it could be. I hope to be able to visit again!

We had a great experience at VíK - the food and coffee is really delicious (we had the vegan tuna bagel, vegan scrambled egg sandwich and the puffy pastry).

Cool little cafe. The servers were excellent and described each item on the menu and what was included in them. I chose the veganised versions of Slovakian foods. They were so good! The coffee was great as well. No photos sorry but trust me you should visit!

The atmosphere in there is super cool. The staff is friendly. He explained everything to me in detail, gave me recommendations for my day trip and even gave me a small bowl of vegan "Fleischsalat" to have a taste. Really appreciated the kind atmosphere. The food was delicious too!

We came here on a Sunday morning when they serve brunch. The staff was super-welcoming and managed to get us a brunch-platter, even it’s usually prepared by reservations.
Read moreThe platter for two consists of different bread types, Slovakian spreads veganized, jam, grapes, crackers, donuts, orange juice… much good stuff! Luckily we are good eaters and could handle all that goodness 😅
If I could choose, I would have loved a little more veg and less dough on the plate.
The owners are super-lovely, really!
You feel how passionate they are about their project!
Everything got explained to us, our water glasses got filled again and again, we got more bread for the leftover spreads and even a portion of vegan dog food for our pup.
I used to work in gastronomy business many years and this service was outstanding! We felt very welcome!
The interior completes that great experience with its tasteful and modern look.

We ordered a sandwich and cake each. The bread used for each sandwich was super fresh as were the tasty fillings (one was based on a traditional Slovak sandwich too!)
Read moreI was really impressed with the sweets: the cream puff based on a Slovak dessert tasted like French choux pastry and it's amazing that the cream is made from lentils (they changed it from soya to accommodate those with allergies). A truly talented baker creates these delicious treats!
Service was so genuine and kind. I look forward to returning, especially for sweets!
