Lovely Views, Food Okay - Edit
Remember to make a reservation! We came here without one at 11am when they open, but they were already booked up until 1pm. Made a res for the following day.
Read moreWe arrived at 11am for our res since seating is first come first serve. Lovely seat overlooking Hulopoe Bay and sweetheart rock. We ordered the beet poke, grain salad with dressing on the side, and the vegan tacos. The food took a while to come out but we were enough the view. They also give you pretzel breadsticks. They were just ok.
The beets themselves were delicious but the breed of seaweed salad they sat upon was a tad salty. The dressing for the grain bowl is a maple vinaigrette but it tasted very mild and just seemed like a neutral oil to me, so I had my grain salad plain. It was decent but again something was a bit salty in there. I think the vegan tacos were the best option. The sauce on the side is quite spicy though. I ate some of my grain salad with it. For dessert, we had the passion fruit sorbet and coconut sorbet but they probably made a mistake because the coconut sorbet tasted exactly like vanilla ice cream which is also on their menu. I wish they were more careful because people with milk allergies could get into trouble when accidentally served a milk based product instead on a non-dairy alternative. E we should’ve said something in hindsight.
I might be back but I’d skip dessert.

Magnificent al fresco lunch spot - Edit
Vegetarian options are limited on Lanai but we had a wonderful lunch at Views. The Whole Grain salad had fruit, veggies, nuts and seeds and was served as a generous portion. And the Mediterranean Bowl was packed with plant protein. Looks like their tacos and tortilla salad can be vegan.
