Yum - Edit
We have been going to Viet Thai for five years now. I think it has some of the best options for vegan food in State College (and recently a friend who is gluten free has had good luck there, too!). The staff are pretty aware of the ingredients and helpful in ordering a meal that will actually come out vegan (we have had mistakes with take out, so double check before you leave the restarant!). Pad thai and the curry dishes are my favorites. We also love the fresh veg spring rolls and mango with sticky rice for dessert (seasonal). I do always feel sad for the fish in their aquarium, though.

Best Thai in town - Edit
Viet-Thai is not authentically Thai (it has Vietnamese owners), but it makes the best Thai food in town. Their green and red curries are delectable with high-grade baked tofu and fresh vegetables. Also try the sauteed Chinese broccoli or the chili stir-fry, both of which can be made with tofu. The lemongrass chili tofu is also excellent with hints of Indian flavors. Highly recommended.
