A must visit. Great evening meal - Edit

Family run, friendly and great food. The man made a real effort speaking English. We choose from a great menu.We had a vegetable soup to start which was really good. My partner had rice, avocado, cheese and vegetables on coco leaves which was delicious. I had a hamburger which was a bun with salad, avocado, cheese and an egg (optional). Had Pineapple, orange and Honey. Will go back for Lunch and try a day menu. Closes at 20.30

Pros: healthy cuisine, Good value, Friendly staff

good lunch menu - Edit

During our trip to Peru, we ate lunch at Vida Natural. We went to locate the place in the morning, but the owner, who spoke some English, noted that we could pre-order (and pre-pay) to have the food ready when we returned at a certain time. This ended up being a great idea as we had to leave town later that afternoon and having lunch immediately ready was a time saver.

There are three set menus: Daily for 15 soles, Executive for 20 soles and Tourist for 25 soles. We got the Executive as it was easy to modify to vegan which they clearly understood here. When we returned, the owner was no longer there, but the chef and waitress took good care of us. We started with garlic bread and vegetable soup. The entrees were the same of pureed potatoes (sin leche) with mixed vegetables and soy meat. Dessert is usually with yogurt, but we received fruit cups with puffed quinoa instead. Both meals came with drinks too - Coke for Dirk and pineapple juice for me. Overall, a good meal from helpful friendly folks.

Pros: good filling food, friendly helpful staff, understand vegan

Good food! - Edit

Great place, very cheap. No buffet when we ate there, but the set menu was almost completely vegan and for 6 soles, a great deal! There were two options for lunch and my girlfriend and I each tried one. They were both delicious, and if we were in town longer, we would definitely go back for more! There are lots of soy cream and soy cheese options, and they even have vegan mayonaise!

Pros: Great food, Vegan Mayonaise!

Cons: Not 100% Vegan
