Vegetarian breakfast - Edit
Really happy with the breakfast fruit bowl options. Not vegan as it was with yoghurt, but a nice change from the egg and toast at most places. They employ tribal community members which is a plus

Okay place - Edit
Not a lot of vegan options, and staff laughed at me when I asked for the vegan pita to be made vegan (no yoghurt sauce)

Just average - Edit
I came here for breakfast as I saw that they had bagels and good reviews. They only have one type of bagel, which is cinnamon. I ordered the cream cheese bagel and Americano. The texture of the bagel is just okay nothing exceptional. The cream cheese is obviously kept in the freezer as it was virtually impossible to spread on my bagel, which was disappointing. Cream cheese should be easy to spread but this was like hard butter that is unspreadable. Also, the aircon doesn't seem to be working properly as it was so warm and stuffy inside.

Not a lot of vegan options, but nice place - Edit
We went here for breakfast. Took a muesli breakfast with oatmilk and cappuccino with oatmilk. They also offer almond milk. Both were really good! It's also nice that the place is helping younger local people from the rural areas to have a broader future perspective. Definitely recommend it.

No pita bread this time or plant milk but good falafel - Edit
Went here after reading all the good reviews about the falafel. We came quite early and they didn’t have any pita bread at all and wouldn’t get it for the day which of course was disappointing. They did however make a sandwich with falafel instead which was ok but can imagine it’s really good with pita. Would probably give 4 star if they had pita bread and vegan dressing (just sweet chili is a bit boring)

Great Falaffelpita - Edit
We were there several times and had the falaffelpita (without yogurt), the humus plate and a sandwich we made ourselves.

Very tasty falafel pita (ask without yoghurt) and banana mocha frappe with oat milk. Lovely customer service. I’d come back if I were staying longer!

If you want and advice, ask sauce on the side or not at all for the falafel...
Staff speaks English which is very nice.

Ordered the falafel pitta minus yoghurt which was massive! We also had hash browns on the side (incred) and ordered smoothie without yoghurt. The staff were very accommodating.

Nice bakery cafe in Pakse - Edit
After a long, horrible, very late, supposed 'sleeper' bus from Thakhek, I came directly here for lunch. I had not eaten for almost 18 hours. 🤦🏻
Read moreHad:
Iced coffee (asked for no sugar)
Chocolate cake
Falafel pitta
All were decent, and most welcome.
A couple of the staff spoke enough English to get by, which is appreciated.
Extra points for having free chilled water. 💖
The only thing I didn't like is that they put sweet chili sauce in the falafel pitta. Whyyyyy? If I had known, I would have asked for no sweet chilli (if hot chilli, yes, but sweet chilli, no)
There are a few vegetarian (can be made vegan) options, like the falafel pitta, and a hummus plate.
Pros: Veg'n options, Not too expensive , Good service, English spoken, free water
