They are 'proud' to serve dead deer - Edit
No ownership change, no mention of struggling financlly, no other indications that they need to serve dead deer, cow cheese, and chicken eggs...
Read moreThis one hurts. After moving to OC from LA we found Vibe and the entire menu was vegan, or as the owners will state, "We never said we were vegan, just plant based!"
I'm assuming they noticed their sales were down as the entire restaurant industry heads towards a complete nosedive, and all restaurants vegan or not are feeling the stress.
The reason this hurts so bad is that we were assuming this reataurant was truly about serving healthy plants. Now after doing a complete 180, and serving up all kinds of animals (I'm sure seafood will be added soon) the vegans around OC feel the rugpull.
I will never be back, ever and I'm sure many of their loyal customers will never be back as they continue to add dead animals. All this proved is that the owners tried to cash in on the vegan surge and instead of realizing the restauarant industry is struggling as a whole, they destroyed their loyal customer base.

Not Just a Juice Bar - Edit
I came in hungry after an early morning flight. I was disappointed that my other spot wasn’t open yet and thought to try this place out begrudgingly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a full kitchen and dining room. They made great use of their strip mall location and are definitely a whole vibe. The food was great. I was happy that this place is not just 100% plant based but also organic. Definitely recommend.
