Such a hidden gem in the heart of downtown! The employees were so darn nice and the Vibe Monte Cristo was amazingly tasty. Can’t wait for them to reopen so I can eat here again!

So happy to find this gem in Fayetteville, NC, on my drive from Florida to Virginia. Very quick stop off 95. Excellent service and so many yummy options to choose from. I ended up getting the lentil taco’s. Very fresh, flavorful and filling! Highly recommend! I’ll be back!

This place is excellent in every way from the food to the owner to the atmosphere to the vibe. We got the chicken wrap with barbecue sauce and the crispy chicken salad and a couple of cookies. One of the reviews said the portions were small. The wrap looked small when I got it, but it was so incredibly filling. I have no complaints. We almost talked ourselves out of it because it was rush-hour and Fayette. They’ll look like a big city, but it was so simple to get off of I 95 and get back on. There was virtually no traffic and plenty of parking. Especially if you’ve been traveling on I 95 and need a good stop this place is the best! We asked the owner about Fayetteville and he gave us a history lesson that was incredibly interesting. Would definitely return!

First let me start with this place is located just 10 mins of I-95. Perfect for those traveling on I-95. The owner was amazing. He gave me suggestions about the food I ordered. I got the chickun sandwich with a salad. The chickun is made in house along with most if not all other products they serve. I got my sandwich dipped in there buffalo sauce which was amazing. For my salad I chose ranch dressing which turned out to be the best choice of my life. The ranch dressing is so good that I had to buy some to take home. The ranch dressing is everything you would hope and dreamed for. It's thick, creamy, and flavored to perfection. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. Perfect for date nite. This is a must visit if you are close to or in the Fayetteville area.

Great and easy spot to stop in North Carolina on our way home from Florida. Food was tasty. Portions were a bit smaller than we were used to and pricing was a bit high for the portions but overall 4/5 stars. I will definitely come back when in town.

We stopped here to get lunch while on a road trip. The atmosphere and staff were lovely! They were friendly, helpful, and made some great food recommendations. We had the burger and buffalo chik’n wrap - both were delicious. We also got some cookies and coffee to go which were really yummy too. If you want a healthy meal, yummy food, super friendly staff, and a clean restaurant, this place is a must visit!

Read moreThe coffee was perfect and better than anything at Starbucks (imo). The food was good, but… I had the breakfast burrito, which was missing the vegan sausage and would have been better with a more balanced veggie to tofu ratio. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

Just a first impression—I stopped by once as I was passing through town. Breakfast is available during all hours so I had a “chicken” waffle sandwich. Proteins and cheeses are both made in-house. The chicken is seitan-based. I prefer soy-based but I understand the owner’s decision to steer clear of preprocessed products and have control over what goes into the food. The menu also had other options (tofu, lentils) that I hope to try if I visit again. Overall, enjoyable meal and the restaurant itself was pleasant. Fayetteville was in need of some vegan presence and it was clear that the owner is passionate about veganism and vegan food.

Our table had the chick’n sandwich ( dry and dense), chick’n salad (chick’n was again dense and dry, included salad greens, carrots and dressing) and lentil tacos ( lentils were a bit mushy and not taco meat like)
At this point Plantbase good should be elevated, food should have eye appeal and be tasty for vegans as well as non vegans.
We will go again and hope honest feedback will help afford their longevity.

The staff were lovely. Explained everything in detail and confirmed our choices. We got and shared the burger and Monte Cristo. The house salad had just the right amount of toppings. The garlic potatoes were nicely seasoned. The hamburger bun was incredible fresh! Everything tasted great. Highly recommend. ♥️

Our first time in, we decided to split a Monte Cristo and Burger. Both were delicious and the softness and freshness of the burger bun blew my wife away. I loved both, but preferred the burger. Can't wait to try the chicken sandwich next time.

Excellent food, all vegan, friendly staff. We found it on Happy Cow, driving from N.Carolina to S.Carolina and so glad we did! We had the veggie burger, the “chickn” sandwich, red potatoes, and fresh juice drinks. So yummy!
We met the owner, Ambery, a lovely young woman, doing good in the world. It’s a relatively new place and I’m sure it will do well! Definitely check it out!

Just an update: We love this place! Went two more times on way to Charleston and back. So happy to be able to eat here anytime we’re in the area! Everything was great: French toast, veggie burger, chickn sandwich, lentil tacos, veg soup, roasted potatoes, salads, fruit drinks, and brownies! Wish there was one in Boston, near us!
