Small vegetarian restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and take away. All products are organic and mostly vegan, but if someone wants eggs and cheese they can order them. In general, the plates are gluten free, milk free and refined sugar free. There are vegan and/or raw cakes, chocolates, biscuits and desserts. Open Mon-Fri 9:00am-9:00pm, Sat 10:30am-9:00pm, Sun 10:30am-4:00pm.

Good food a bit overpriced - Edit

I had a tasty lunch there the other day. I got a beetroot burger, seitan and veggies. All this consisted one plate, not too full. Even tho I paid 15 euro for the plate and left slightly hungry.
They also serve nice green slow juices.

Pros: tasty, many options

Cons: expensive

Mostly vegan - Edit

Lots of tasty vegan dishes to choose from, with the Spanish omelette being the only non-vegan option they had when I ate here. A bit pricey, though: 8-9€ for the most of plates

Pros: lots of vegan choices, extended opening hours

Cons: overpriced

They will rob you blind !!! - Edit

If you believe this is an untrusted bad review, check my profile: I wrote 60+ full reviews, all of them very positive, only a couple with fair criticism, nothing negative. I always try to see the good in every veg business as finally, every one of them helps us as a community and more importantly helps the animals. Not this time the place is a total ripoff and definitely does no good to anyone, HC why can't we rate it 1*?

I went to Via Organica for the first time, on the wall there is a big board with a confused menu. We ask the person at the counter if they have a daily special or set menu. He says no, just what they have at the counter. He also says the menu is not updated so it is easiest to just see and order what they have. Ok, sounds good, let's have him set us up some plates, he shows what everything is while we choose, we trust him as there are no prices written. I ask him about the sizes of each portion and he shows us a dessert plate...so the obvious conclusion is to order 3 portions to make a normal plate each. We sit down and wait, wait, and wait again. It took ages to bring us something that was already cooked and simply needed to be heated. When we are finally served we are a bit disappointed, you could taste the reheated food, especially with dishes like pasta you end up with super dry food. Never mind not an experience I would repeat but let's forget about it. I ask to pay... and that's when things got really absurd: price for both us to eat and share 1 small glass of tomato juice 45 euros!!! What, 45 EUR for a reheated lunch? Not even with proper drinks nor desserts... crazy! This is, without doubt, the most expensive lunch I ever had, not only because of the cost but for the value received. Salaries of 700 a month are very common in the Canaries. The Island has plenty of amazing vegan restaurants in all price categories. If you are in Tenerife ensure you check out all your options before getting robbed here. They charged us 8 EUR for a serving of rice with pieces of veggies, for the same price you have vegan places giving you a full lunch menu with soup, main dish, and dessert! Others charge you 8-10 for a proper plate. Or you can happily spend 45 euro between 2 but for a 4-course dinner prepared for you in a classy restaurant with drinks...not for a reheated lunch in Via Organica, which is a robbery! I paid and did not make a problem there but I wrote on Facebook BEFORE this review and the owners' response was as poor as our experience.

Pros: Perfect if you are on a diet or want to fast, Meat eaters can reaffirm vegan food is overpriced, No clear prices, nice surprise at the end!

So sweet people. - Edit

Very good and familiar atmosphere.
It's a family run restaurant and I had a feeling of being welcome in their living room. The food was really great. Quite costly but all bio and self made. No microwave or preservants.

Pros: Yummy

Cons: $$$

Lovely and Delicious!!! - Edit

In my very broken Spanish we managed to have delicious protein smoothies on a very hot day in Tenerife. When we asked if we could customize, they were incredibly accommodating.

Tasty and healthy - Edit

We ran by coincidence into this small but cosy café. You can have a choice of sandwiches and rolls with various topping. Lots of vegan options and also different other plates on the menu. The freshly pressed juice and sandwiches we had were delicious. We finished with a big piece of cake.

Pros: Many vegan and gluten free options. Not to expens

Cons: No English menu available but staff is very helpfu

Pure and delicious - Edit

This place is a definite must for any pure and whole food lover. Wide variety to choose from and all of it organic. Excellent organic wines, too. The menu-on-wall (spanish only) is a bit daunting for international visitors, but the owners are very nice and helpful. My wife and I went there twice in a couple days' time. Both times, we let the cook just prepare something for us, and both times we were presented an excellent meal. Delicious 'crema' (soup) and they also have a chickpea-based stew that is great. Not cheap, but well worth it.

Pros: excellent quality food, great and varied choice

Cons: spanish-only menu
