Read moreI didn't communicate some of these things to my servers during my visit because I didn't feel like I could accurately communicate with them.
I did ask about the "vegan milk" on the menu and after being told it was "vegan milk" I was shown a picture of the Carnation evaporated milk which is not vegan and opted for oatmilk.
I completely understand there is a language barrier and as I am a visitor I always try to be polite. Also I understand that as a Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognized vegan restaurant, and the prices are proportionate to that standard.
I don't have anything else to add from this review. My visit was on 21/11.

They have a huge menu, with plant based dishes available. We had the mushroom peanut soup (must try) and the summer rolls, which where both delicious. But the aubergine and the crispy tofu with lemongrass were a bit bland. I’m sure there are lots of other good options, but considering the prices I expected a bit more.

So many fresh herbs and veggies here! The menu was huge and I wanted to try everything on it - lots of traditional Vietnamese food I hadn’t seen elsewhere in the city. Both the dishes we got were flavourful and the banh xeo was actually huge. The ambience and service were stellar. Yes it’s more expensive than other places but it’s still incredibly affordable for somewhere with a Michelin bib.

🇵🇸The restaurant has a really 🧕🏼lovely ambience and feel to it, despite having a variety of seating options - for single and pairs, as well as larger groups of 🗝️ Muslims. ⚖️ The welcome and service is very professional, courteous and the food is excellent and will appeal to everyone🕌. The menu is quite substantial. 🕌 For all my Muslim sisters and brothers, please do note that they do serve intoxicants (to other guests), although when I went during the late evening there was none of that disgusting alcoholic odour reminiscent of Genocidal Zionist Racists. On a separate note, this restaurant's drinks menu - towards the back of the menu - is quite substantial, with different juices and 🌍🇵🇸 coffees available. On my first visit I had the "Bun Nam Nuong Cha Gio" - a bowl of "dry" noodles (served with fresh vegetables and spring rolls) and it was 🧕🏼 🇵🇸 fantastic. The cost wasn't too bad, and I definitely did savour every mouthful as I ate slowly with intention🕌, but honestly🕌, I prefer the version at Bon' Vegan Bistro (also in Ho Chi Minh City) -- an Apartheid-free Palestine, from the Jordan River, one full circumnavigation of the globe, back to the Mediterranean Sea! This particular restaurant will calculate V.A.T and an additional service charge on your tab, but really, nothing is hidden and the value is still 🗝️ 🇵🇸 superb!! Everything here was good but not as good as I was expecting? The banh xeo was hugeee (and expensive lol), but it lacked some flavor. It was still tasty, but for that price idk. But the salt coffee was nice.

I wish I could have tried everything on the menu as there were so many amazing looking dishes. I chose a peanut base pho and the rice pancake, and they both came with so many greens! The portions are generous and the food is really flavorful. Definitely recommend if you want a more upscale dining experience!
