Fried tofu on point 💥 - Edit
I had the fried tofu and waffles and I liked the combo with both buffalo and Maple sauces, although the tofu was perfectly fried the waffles were caked.

la comida es muy muy buena, pero el servicio es lentísimo y el lugar muy incómodo, necesitan un verdadero local o dedicarse únicamente al servicio a domicilio y pickups, sólo tienen dos mesas así que deberían quitar la opción de comer ahí para hacer su servicio más eficiente.

I had the fried tofu, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and a biscuit. Oh, and the fried oreos! All was good but not mind blowing. The tofu had a great crispy outside like fried chicken, but I found it to be kinda bland and the tofu itself to be bland. Those and the potatoes were very salty. My partner and I loved the oreos the best.

first of all you can eat there too. the food is insane. the fried tofu bits, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw made me feel like I used to. the waffles were also outstanding. the oreas gave me the rest 😂

EDIT: Bumping up to five stars after getting delivery a few times. The tenders I got were denser with more tofu, and they survive delivery super well, staying crispy and fresh tasting even after being microwaved!
Read moreAs some of the other reviews here have mentioned, the pieces are made of layers of tofu skin that are wrapped up and then battered and fried. Unfortunately the frying process causes them to puff up quite a bit, which leaves an airy inside without much there. As you pull them apart you’ll mostly get thin little pieces of batter with some tofu skin attached.
Having said that, they’re definitely tasty pieces, though! I just think that maybe mixing in some seitan or maybe frozen and thawed medium-firm tofu along with the skins would be good to fill them up and make them a little meatier and more substantial.
Nonetheless, they’re good, and $99 MXN gets you three pieces, a fairly large serving of creamy mashed potatoes, and a large biscuit. That’s one of the best deals around for non-Mexican food vegan meals!

Love this joint, the only problem I had was that they cancelled my order last minute because they were too busy after I made the 20 minute walk there. But, I then went back to Airbnb and ordered via Uber Eats, and then proceeded to order it 3 more times while staying in CDMX. They make the "fried chicken" with Yuba (tofu skin) and it makes it light and airy while still having that fried food taste. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes but wish they added a little more gravy, and the "salad" which is similar to US American coleslaw.
