Ich liebe es einfach. Egal was du bestellst, der Geschmack ist bombastisch. Die Portionen groß genug, vielfältig und schön angerichtet. Personal super und Schnelligkeit auch. Ich bin seit 7 Jahren vegan, komme aus Oberösterreich und habe auswärts noch nie Besseres gegessen. 2 Mal schon diese Woche😄Danke!

Loved this Vietnamese food restaurant — excellent service with kind waitstaff, delicious food, and nice ambience (with options for indoor or outdoor seating). Ordered the bahn bao, pho with tofu and vegetables, crispy tofu squares, and the banana in sticky rice dessert, and all were amazing. In fact, I ordered two of the banana dessert because it was that good! Best vegan restaurant during my stay in Vienna

Nice outside seats and very sweet staff.
I choose tempura and udon soup with chocolate pudding. very good price. And the food is amazing and very good portions.
A lot of people were smoking on the terrace which was a bummer.
In the evening i went back and had a rice dish. Very big portion and super yummy too. I wish I could try the entire menu.
They don’t serve chopsticks unless u ask for them. they serve a knife and fork very odd but maybe people here eat rice with fork and knife and no spoon.

Vevi has a very extensive menu. It's hard to choose because everything sounds good! We tried the bao bun and Edamame beans for starters. The bao bun was filled well and soft from the inside. The Edamame beans were good. Luckily not too salty! As main I ordered the vegan salmon filet. It was so delicious! It really tasted like fish. Also the texture was very similar. The vegetables were prepared very well. I can really recommend this dish!! The portion sizes are big (maybe too big).
Read moreUpdate: visited Vevi for the second time during my stay in Vienna. Because I really really liked the vegan Salmon dish I had the first time I had high expectations. Unfortunately I was not blown away by the fried noodles. To be honest it was a bit boring and it tasted to much of black pepper.. Although I did not liked the noodles I think Vevi is worth five stars for their other dishes!

A must visit in Vienna - Edit
Went to Vevi for dinner on a Sunday. We managed to get a table outside which was quite nice although it's not located in the prettiest of streets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu is quite large, with some dishes that are (on paper at least) very similar to each other. I found it a little difficult to choose because of the sheer number of options, but I'm not complaining. All of the dishes sounded and looked delicious to me.
Read moreFor starters my wife and I shared a bun bao and a bowl of salted edamame beans. The bao bun was really good. The texture was perfectly soft and slightly chewy like a bao is supposed to be. It was also quite large and nicely filled. Went well with the chili sauce on the side. The edamame beans were also good and they served quite a lot of them.
For my main, I eventually went with number 57 (can't remember the name of the dish). Was very happy with my choice as it was so flavorful. Really umami and a bit on the salty side, which is usually the case with these types of dishes so that really wasn't an issue for me. The dish came with white rice which was very nicely prepared and went well with the amazing sauce (and let me tell you, there was a lot of sauce). The crispy seitan was honestly unlike any I've ever tasted before. It was so incredibly soft and tender on the inside and melts in your mouth while the outside is crispy. There's no way you'd be able to distinguish this from pork. If anything, it' was probably even more tender than any meat counterpart could ever be. There were also quite a lot of vegetables which were all cooked perfectly and the overall portion size was really big.
I honestly can't recommend Vevi enough. This restaurant rocks.
Update: a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays in Vienna so we ended up going to Vevi two days in a row. The second time around I had the Vietnamese coconut curry which was absolutely out of this world. I didn't think it would have been possible but I liked the curry even better than the dish I had the day before. It's a little bit spicy though, so if you don't like spicy food this dish is not for you. Portion size was huge.

This restaurant is insane, the staff is so sweet and the food is incredibleeee. We went here twice, but I definitely would have eaten here more. We got the spring rolls our first visit and they were SO FRESH and the sauces were so good. We ordered the lo mein wheat noodles with seitan and I also got a bowl mixed with seitan and tofu which was so fresh. Their house lemonade is a must order, also their iced coffee with boba is so good! The chocolate hazelnut cake is a must order too! Can’t say enough about this place!

We had 5 delicious dishes from their extensive menu (be ready for pages and pages of options!)
Read more1/ Summer rolls with soy protein & tofu, 2/ papaya salad,
3/ steamed Vietnamese bao bun filled with soy, glass noodles, morels, carrots, peas, sweet chili sauce, chili sauce,
4/ Pho Bowl with Soy strips, Tofu and Hoisin Peanut sauce,
5/ matcha cheesecake,
and only paid 45 eur for them all.
We ate outside, got served very quickly and were able to take away our leftovers.
The food was copious, healthy, yummy and flavoursome. Not to be missed!

Every dish was excellent! Luckily we came early enough to get a table for 4, because 30 minutes later the place was packed and there was a huge line to get in. Despite very cold temperatures people decided to sit outside also to be able to eat this delicious food!
