I had a BBQ falafel burger with a sweet potato salad mix, strawberry hibiscus tea and vegan brownie that I believe had cranberries in the topping. Cute place, nice staff. Be sure to bring euro as it is cash only! The nearest ATM we had to walk to was quite a ways away.

We had a tasteful vegan salad and burger. For our children there was a simple vegan pasta that they ate without complaint. The restaurant was busy on a saturday and it would be wise to make a reservation to get a good table.

It was alright but neither particularly exciting nor exceptional. And a little pricey, therefore not quite worth it in my book. But I suppose being in the financial district, that’s a given. Addition of English description under the existing German menu would be helpful. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering so maybe that contributed to my feelings of it being just average. I think it’s great if you work at an office nearby and this is your local convenient healthy lunch spot. However, for the visiting traveler, I wouldn’t say the food merits going out of your way.

Given these luxurious ingredients, it wouldn’t call it expensive, and given the taste, I wouldn’t call it typical vegan health food as some have done in their reviews. There is one downside though: Some other dishes are „only“ good, some are mediocre.
Pros: Nearly everything is vegan, Friendly staff, Some dishes are brilliant
Cons: Quality varies (in respect to different dishes), More waiters needed for adequate service, God knows why they don’t go fully vegan

Read moreIt's inevitable that close to the heart of the Frankfurt financial district, you're going to have a veg-friendly place that is pricy, has food from a few places around the world, and is at least a little pretentious. Vevay checks all those boxes, combined with indifferent attention and (ironically, for a place by the financial district) only cash service.
The menu has some length, but few dishes that particularly stand out as unique, unusual, or even all that hard to prepare. I honestly couldn't get excited about any particular dish. And the food was good, but not exceptional.
It's nice that Frankfurt has more veg options these days, but I suspect I'd only come back here if I were already in the vicinity.

We spontaneously went there in the evening and got a seat, despite the reservations. Great menu and the food was very tasty. A cozy atmosphere, nice staff. For "cash only payment" one star less, because I find nowadays, it should be possible to pay everywhere with card.

I was very excited to see a place so busy. I had great expectations. Service was lacking and I had to go and remind the staff about my dish. I ordered the kimchi bowl which consisted mainly of rice. A few pieces of tempe and beetroot and edamame and cold kimchi. possibly a lack of competition has made this place so popular. I would have loved food that is not so easy to make at home.

Soup of the day was great and came with bread. They have some delicious in house made iced teas such as lemongrass/mint and strawberry/hibiscus that are very refreshing. Our waitress spoke great English and they had an English menu. Overall good experience.

Except for 3 breakfast dishes everything on the menu was vegan. Food (and cake!) was yummy! The restaurant was completely full, so booking in advance is a good idea. All in all a really nice experience :)

Small restaurant with two floors that had a variety of good vegan dishes. They are basically entirely vegan, but only the breakfast was vegetarian so if they just took out the eggs and other animal-derived food, they could claim themselves vegan. I enjoyed the food and awesome vegan dessert. Had my first vegan Donauwelle and I loved it.
