the salad was good ; swedish meatballs were kinda small and a bit blend ; i didn’t like the potato with curry, there was so much thick yellow curry cream it stayed on the stomach.
the service was kinda bad, the waitress is not nice : we were there on the evening and playing cards whilst finishing eating and she came to take the plates. we said we weren’t finished yet and she said that they were closing, to which we asked if they didn’t close at 10pm like it says here (if so, we still had 20 minutes). she said yes, but then said that we’d better finish eating instead of playing and then angrily began to move the chairs on the table next to us.

Delightful restaurant with amazing food in Old Town. We wanted Swedish food in Sweden and Verte delivered! The Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, and lingonberries were amazing, the sauce flavorful, mashed potatoes perfect and the meatballs: wow! Great taste and texture. The dumplings with sauerkraut and mushrooms were excellent too. Highly recommend this restaurant! Family owned, and everything made at the restaurant. Can’t ask for a better dining experience.

The food was good, nothing exceptional though. The bank system was down during our visit so the staff had a lot to deal with but handled the situation well. The meatballs were good, the bowl was fine but the flavours didn't really go together.

Read moreI wanted to try and see for myself where all the good reviews come from. Unfortunately, I haven't found out. The meatballs were just fine, nothing special. The sauce was pretty tasty, but the meatballs themselves were a bit too hard.
The menu is pretty small and not very interesting beside that. Even for Stockholm the prices are just too much, probably because of location. 180 for a daily soup, 200 for a salad.
I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not really willing to give it another shot..

Vegan restaurant with great location right at Gamla Stan. We went for lunch and had the dumplings with sauerkraut and the Köttbullar which were amazing! There are not a lot of food options to choose from, but the ones they have were all different, from salad to pasta to swedish dishes, so there should be something for everyone.

Cosy little restaurant offering small but varied selection of vegan food, including traditional Swedish dishes and daily specials. Had the lasagne, which was the pasta special that day. Was very tasty and filling, with a nice mix of vegetables and meat alternative. Had the cheesecake for desert. The actual cheesecake part was amazing, but felt that the lack of a biscuit base and lack of sweetness in the fruit topping let it down a bit.

Really enjoyed our meals here. Tried the vegballs and the dumplings and both were very tasty. We are glad we also ordered a salad though because you don't get any greens with them. The salad was also very good.

Amazing Vegan Swedish Meatballs - Edit
Since it was my first time in Sweden, I was desperate to try vegan Swedish meatballs. When I saw that Verte had them (plus it’s fully vegan), I knew I needed to go! The meatballs were tasty and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Verte for vegans visiting or living in Stockholm.

🇩🇪 Tolles, veganes Restaurant! Wir haben die gemütliche Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Die Gerichte sind alle zu empfehlen, unser Favorit sind aber die "Vegoballs": vegane Köttbullar. Es gibt aber auch Suppe, Burger, Pasta und noch mehr. Wir wurden sehr herzlich bedient und werden definitiv erneut vorbeikommen, wenn es uns in Zukunft nach Stockholm zieht.
Read more🏴 Great vegan restaurant! We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The dishes are all delicious, but our favorite is the “Vegoballs”: vegan Swedish meat balls. But there is also soup, burgers, pasta and more. We were served very warmly and will definitely come back if we are drawn to Stockholm in the future.

For a 5 I'd expect fresh produce. The bowl we ordered was nice but small and we had to order sweet potato fries as there wasn't anything else. Cute restaurant and vibe.
