We loved the vegan burger and "meat" balls with mashed potatoes, the salad with garlic bread as well as the vegan cheesecake. Incredibly tasty. Some of the best vegan food we've ever had! Can only recommend.

The food was genuinely delicious. The vegan Swedish meatballs in particular were very satisfying in both flavor and texture.
Read moreHowever, I can’t say the same about the ambiance. Throughout the entire meal, polyphonic organ melodies were playing in the background, which created a rather odd atmosphere. Considering the prices, which I think are quite high, the overall experience could have been better.
Still, the food itself was definitely the strong point. If you’re curious about vegan Swedish meatballs, it’s worth trying.

I've been meaning to come here for the meatballs but fell for the "Janssons frestelse" - a traditional Swedish Christmas dish that every Swede knows: a creamy baked potato casserole with savoury onions and salty pickled sprats, topped with a golden crunchy crumb.
Labelled on the menu as "A plant-based interpretation of the beloved classic. Served with crispy crispbread, vegan cheese and a fresh kale salad with apple and walnuts."
Howeveeeer... this dish I was served lacked all the creamy flavour that you'll find in Janssons. It was quite the opposite. No saltiness and no flavour to be mentioned.
The cheese tasted like Violife, that I personally can't stand.
So it was not a great dinner, sad to say.
I'm happy to come back though and try something else at another time.
My mom tried the famous meatballs and they looked tastier, however I didn't get to try them.
Kudos for being proudly vegan < 3

Wir haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und eine tolle Auswahl in der Karte. Auch traditionelle schwedische Gerichte in vegan verfügbar. Der Preis ist eher gehoben. Von der Portion vegane Köttbular sind wir leider nicht satt geworden.

I had the vegan meatballs with mashed potatoes which were great and I 100% would recommend. Unfortunately I also decided to drink a glass of wine, which ended up costing me almost as much as the meal itself (that's on me for not asking for the price). The service and the atmosphere could be better considering the prices.

We went here with high expectations because of all the good reviews, but were disappointed. The waitress was rather unattentive and seemed to be bored. The food was mediocre (we had a vegan burger that was on the bland side and a bowl).

I went for the vegan meatballs with mashed potatoes as I read only positive comments on them. I was not disappointed, and the portion size was filling. I find the old interior design cosy and like that you can do some people-watching through their windows, which are also nicely surrounded by house plants. I definitely would go back to try their other dishes.

It’s a cozy restaurant in the old town. I had a vegan shrimp toast with caviar and it was delicious! I can really recommend it. It was a little pricey but totally okay for central Stockholm.

Wirklich! Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen. Die Auswahl ist einfach toll. Es gibt immer ein Gericht des Tages und eine Suppe des Tages. Wir haben einiges probiert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alls war unglaublich lecker und die Portionsgröße war mehr als ausreichend. Trotz des recht veralteten Interieurs Definitiv zu empfehlen.
