Great coffee and baguette - Edit
Had the mushroom baguette, delicious. Oat flat white was one of the best I’ve had in Japan.

Very nice cafe, although touristy - Edit
Great location for breakfast after probably walking and sweating.
Read moreIt was full and we had to wait to get in but they had a good waiting list system.
Iced soy cocoa is excellent. Menu very typical european brunch spot, but hummus and veggies were great and flavourful

Great breakfast near Inari shrine - Edit
Great choice before going to the shrine! Lots of choices including vegan sandwiches, salad, avocado toasts and muffins. Delicious coffee and the view was great, wasn’t crowded!

Nice cafe, but very crowded - Edit
We went there at 11 am and they were full with a waiting list available. The hummus plate was already sold out. Came back at 2 pm and luckily got the only free table. I got a matcha latte, the granola, which I think was the only vegan food option at that time, and a muffin for dessert. Staff was very friendly and the food was very good.

Nice calm spot, no wait at 13:00 - Edit
Would give five stars but it’s not fully vegetarian. Wonderful calm environment and no wait at 13:00 on a Monday. Great coffee, and the veggie banh mi was nice, too. Compared with other restaurants with a line out the door and poorly marked vegetarian options, this one was a blessing to come across.

No vegan banh mi - Edit
Went in cause saw reviews said vegan banh mi but on the menu it said contains egg and butter in the bread, I believe they do have a few 2 or 3 vegan options but didn’t try them, considering they display vegan wording on the stand out front was expecting more!

Vegan banh mi - Edit
Tasty vegan banh mi and coffee.
Read moreThere was a long queue to get in with everyone wanting a seat outside. I’m not sure the view was worth the wait, next time I’d take an inside table and get served much sooner.
The tables were also very small which made it quite difficult to eat the banh mi.
But in terms of food it was very tasty.

Super Yummy Stop after Mt. Inari! - Edit
We had lunch at Vermillion Cafe after our hike up Mt. Inari. They offered four different main dishes for lunch: Two out of the four were vegan. There’s some other smaller dishes on offer as well. The Hummus Plate was great, it could have been a bit more filling though. The vegan banana and chocolate muffin was really tasty. They also serve good coffee.

Very cute and delicious food! - Edit
Very cute setting. Lovely staff. They had a few vegan options. I had the Avocado toast, it was delicious and the dressing on the salad was so yummy. I also cannot recommend the iced Oat Latte enough; it was delicious and one of the best tasting coffees I've ever had!! The Oat milk was so creamy and tasted so good.

Pleasant Surprise - Edit
The 'vegan cauliflower soup' caught my eye as I walked by post hike to the top. Such a cute spot, and cozy meal during a rainy day. Great hidden gem for options.

Great stopping point after visiting Fushimi Inari shrine - Edit
We stumbled upon this place after coming down from the summit, and it was a perfect stop. Good espresso drinks, very sweet and serene back patio overlooking water. Several vegan options on a well marked menu, including cookies and a muffin. Hummus plate was delicious with lots of fresh veggies.

Good quick bite before/after Fushimi Inari - Edit
Nice English speaking cafe right by the entrance/exit to Fushimi Inari. They were out of my first choice for lunch but had another option as well as vegan baked goods, though it looked like I grabbed the last muffin they had left.

Decent vegan offering - Edit
Western style cafe. Avo toast and hummus dishes have been made vegan as standard. Choc banana muffin is hot stuff. Good spot to refresh following the shrine. Be prepared to wait.
