Perfect for vegan tourists!

We stayed in a self catering apartment, and Veritas answered all of our vegan cooking needs! There’s anything you could ever want as a vegan: an expansive range of plant milks, nuts, seeds, lots of pasta types, dairy free cheeses, yoghurts, pudding, ice cream, vegan chocolate and biscuits. They even do vegan croissants and ready meals! The con is that it’s pricey. I’d recommend only going here for specialist vegan items that can’t be bought from ordinary supermarkets.

great store

Nice big store, a large variety of items including nut milks,organic groceries, soy products and much more. was on the pricier side though. I would just buy specialist items here and get the more standard stuff in a regular supermarket as that's much cheaper.

Cons: pricey

In Veritas organic supermarkets you can find:

- All kind of organic fruit and vegetables.
- Seitan, tofu and other faux-meats: hamburgers, sausages, etc.
- Vegan cheese.
- Different breads, the vegan ones are labelled.
- Drinks: organic beers and wines, juices, plant-based milk, etc.
- Cereals, flours, legumes, dried fruits, snacks, biscuits, chocolates.
- Natural cosmetics.
- Supplements.
- Others: different sauces, desserts, seaweeds, spices, etc.

Warning: This is not a vegetarian store.

The price is a bit expensive compared to other stores in the city, so be sure to check out the offers.
