Pretty good vegan options

Verdure is located in the Dream Mall which is the largest shopping mall in Taiwan. It is the second vegetarian restaurant in the mall. And while it's probably great for vegetarians, it's okay for vegans looking for a meal. Three of the dishes we had were excellent, but I'd have to say that the pasta and meatball dish was below average ... More like dough balls IMO. They do not offer any milk alternatives for coffee drinks which was a big disappointment. The prices were fair and as I said it was great to have a second option inside this ginormous shopping mall. If there were more options I wouldn't recommend it but there are not so I give it a thumbs up.

Pros: Location , Vegan options , Presentation

Cons: Linguine with veggie meatballs , No vegan milk, Not 100% vegan

Nice surprise in the mall

We happened across this restaurant while exploring the monstrous Dream Mall, which was a pleasant surprise. Approximately 1/3 of the reasonably extensive menu is vegan. We got the green beans, meatball, samosas (labelled as curry dumplings for some reason) and roast pork. Of those, probably the meatball (notice the singular, not plural) and roast pork were the best - the beans were not as cooked as I usually like and the sauce was eye wateringly salty, and the samosas were samosas, nothing special. It was also pretty expensive particularly for the amount of food and for Taiwan standards. Nevertheless, I ain't gonna complain about a vegetarian restaurant in a mall (and not the only one either!), which would be unheard of back at home.

Pros: Quick friendly service, Extensive menu

Cons: A little pricey, Some dishes subpar, Small servings for some dishes
