#1 Restaurant in Acapulco, vegan or otherwise! - Edit
The only vegan restaurant in Acapulco, with an organic grocery store built in! The food is absolutely amazing, the people are great, the prices are low, and they've got a HUGE variety of smoothies and fresh-squeezed juices. I really can't recommend it highly enough, for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, or just a snack. They are also one of only two restaurants in Acapulco (the only grocery) that accept Bitcoin.
Verde Pistache (the store half) offers a wide variety of organic superfoods, grains/flours, spices, oils, body-care products (locally made), and more.
Some must haves from the restaurant:
- Enchiladas Suizas (with potato "cheese" & salsa verde)
- The Vital (sandwich with hummus, avocado, veggies, on homemade rice bread)
- Quinoa Pancakes (get 'em with strawberry marmelade & banana ice cream)
- Ultra (Green Juice)
- Maniac (PB, cacao, date, cinnamon smoothie)
Pros: Wide variety of smoothies & juices, VERY cheap, Everything is delicious

This is one of my very favorite places in all of Acapulco. At this time (Feb 2016), it is said to be the ONLY vegan restaurant in Acapulco.
As a vegan, it's wonderful to know that everything on their extensive menu is 100% vegan! I've been there several times and tried many different dishes and juices. All have been fantastic.
Even if you aren't vegan, I am confident you will love the food. Several non-vegan friends joined me there for meals and all were delighted.
Just wish I could pack it up and take it back to Orlando with me.
Pros: fantastic food, great variety - salads, juices, , great Mexican dishes and more
Cons: can be a bit slow, but worth the wait, only open until 6 pm

El chocomilk, espectacular. Nos encantó el tofu con curry.
Los cupcakes muy ricos!
El licuado Mangazo es una delicia.
Los chilaquiles son buenos pero vienen mal servidos (porción demasiado pequeña).

Truly a wonderful experience! - Edit
Even though it was far from me, I went twice to Verde Vegan in the short time I was in Acapulco. It's simply increadible, with a large variety of everything, especially juices, and delicious, nutritious food. Honestly, not that expensive either! I loved Verde Vegan and the staff was lovely. Oh, and breakfast is served all day!!
