9 de Julio 36, Cordoba, Argentina,

Lots of selection from which to choose, and pay by weight it at the counter; vegan dishes are not labeled, so ask; the restaurant did not appear to be open for dinner, so call first. Open Mon-Sat 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Good lunch spot - Edit

Bay marie style lunch. Vegan options (not marked, need to ask). Tasty food. Filtered cold water and herbal tea included with lunch. Friendly staff. Large windows overlooking the pedestrian mall.

delicious food! - Edit

Nice salad bar with a variety of beans and cooked and raw vegetables. Today they had a nice pumpkin based dressing to go on the salad, as well as an assortment of vinegars. There were also a variety of hot dishes, most of which were vegan, oven potatoes, Milanesas de soja, stir fried veggies, baked veggies, corn pie. Free hot cedrón tea available in the seating area.

Nice relaxing place to sit and eat and get away from the madness of the pedestrian shopping street below!

All of the food was really good! I got an extremely full plate for 150 pesos.

I would definitely eat there again!

Vegan lunch in a meat haze! - Edit

Verde Siempre is easy to find on a main street in the centre of town. Large, airy restaurant with fans to keep cool. Choices for vegans - both hot and cold - all well made and tasty. Pay by weight system encourages low wastage. Used by lots of locals who are regulars - nice mix - seemed to cover whole demography. Price by Argentine standards moderate.

Pros: Nice environment, Choices for vegans

Cons: Hot food could be hotter

The only real option for veggies in Cordoba - Edit

The food is cafeteria style and pay by weight - for those of us who eat a lot it's not nearly as financially efficient as say the all you can eat places in Buenos Aires. However, the food choices are pretty good and you will have selection if you're vegan.

Pros: food selection

Cons: food is just average
