Lovely location, great food - Edit
Great food, friendly service, in a lovely square. Courgette and apple fritters (buñuelos) were great, as were the garlic mushrooms and cream cheese on toast, heura veggie stir fry, breaded seitan and chips and nuggets and chips. Excellent prices. Only veg/vegan place in Jerez so well worth trying.

Íbamos con muchas expectativas, un sitio sin nada de carne en la carta, mitad vegana mitad vegetariana. La calidad de la comida no es muy buena. Las tapas están bien en cantidad para lo que valen, pero la ración era muy pobre. El sitio si es muy tranquilo y acogedor, y el trato del camarero ha sido bastante bueno.

The only 100% veg place in Jerez - Edit
I had lunch at Verde Gourmet with my girlfriend and ordered the Vegan menu for two people. It was delicious (seitan, potatoes, eors with veggies, hummus and mushrooms toasts drink) and at the end we were both full (and that's for 22 euro only) but we wanted to try a dessert as well. We had a sort of acai bowl with fruit and it was delicious!

Read moreThe owner/chef was fantastic, we explained that I was coeliac and she told me very clearly what was suitable to eat on the menu.
There was lots of choice including pizza, salad etc. I went for heüra with fried vegetables, very tasty indeed and really filling. My wife went for the cheese and pear ravioli which she found fantastic and thought it to be one of the best pasta meals she had had, and we have spent a lot of time in Italy and eaten lots of pasta. I would have liked to try some dessert but we were both too full 😊. If you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free in any combination or none of these, try the food here, you will love it.

Really vegetarian? - Edit
My husband was served a warped biscuit with his coffee after our meal. Yummy - melt in the mouth traditional cookie - but when afterwards I checked the wrapper and ingredients out of curiosity I saw the word ‘manteca’ which I didn’t recognise as second or so ingredient - oh dear - according to google translate this was animal fat. And that made me wonder about the cheese we’d just also enjoyed.....

Somos vegetarianos, no veganos. En el Reino Unido, esto significa que comemos huevos y productos lácteos, es decir, productos que contienen leche pero no cualquier otro tipo de producto animal. Eso significa, por ejemplo, que el queso que contiene cuajo animal no se considera vegetariano. Y las galletas que contienen grasa animal (Manteca) tampoco son vegetarianas. ¿Tiene sentido?

Bien, si los vegetarianos en España y Italia pueden comer manteca así como leche, queso y huevos. Tuvimos un equivocación, lo siento, los veganos solo excluiden todos los productos. De toda forma la próxima vez en España te recomiendo de especificar esto. Solo los veganos excluiden todo. Gracias.

Food is not that good, to expensive for the amount of food, ensaladilla rusa was tasteless and tiny. Waiter was talking with his girl before doing his job, was slow and dishes came very separate in time. I will never go back

had the loveliest waiter talk us through the menu, explaining what was what and making recommendations. we got a mixture of vegan tapas including hummus, legumes, patates and some quince and vegan cheese of bread. this place was lovely, we’d definitely be coming back if we were staying here

Gorgeous place, gorgeous food, 5star restaurant! - Edit
We are a family of 4 Vegans who enjoyed everything we ate at this restaurant for 2 nights running. All the food was lush, the service and staff were perfect and the cost was spot on. The kids loved it and were even given a puzzle to play with after eating. Would definitely recommend it!
